Rendezvous with Action!Vaughn

(Editor's Note: due to the fact that SB thought it would be cool to try to hit on the hot guy across the hall, unaware that he has a girlfriend, she missed all the Action!Vaughn in this episode. And we are aware that there was a lot, too. We ask that you just go with it, and in exchange, the writer has been made aware that if this happens again, she'll be reported to SD-6. Thank you.)

It would figure that when I finally get up the muse to start Action!Vaughn, the episode being aired is Rendezvous; aka the Action! Will episode. And on top of that, that I would tune in 30 minutes into the episode (but, in my defense, I was helping out the really good-looking guy across the hall).

Anyhow, this episode (last 30 minutes of it, anyway) is far too VaughnLite for me to fairly start this write-up, but that's what I'm doing. Bear with me. ;) And while we may have to cope with Action!Willage, at least we get to hear him shriek like a girl ("Was it a girly scream?" Oh, will the XF flashbacks never end?).

I think I've decided that I'm going to rate each episode on its level of Action!Vaughn-ness. To begin:

*serious lack of Vaughn -- demerits
*shirtless!Will instead of shirtless!Vaughn (or, indeed, skivvies!Vaughn) -- demerits
*Vaughn's firm tone when reminding Syd that Sloane was the enemy -- point gain
*Vaughn saying that "action" might mean lots of Action! Will in the form of the CIA?? -- major demerits!
*Vaughn not monitoring Will in the safe house and therefore not running in and kicking Will's ass when Will started claiming he loved Syd -- so many demerits, but mostly for JJ Abrams
*Sark not killing … whoops, never mind

Again, it's hard to rate an episode based on 30 minutes, but that's what I'm doing. Next time I watch this ep, I'll update this rating, but until then…

Action!Vaughn Level in Rendezvous: for the various reasons listed above, a sad (sad) 3.2 out of 10. I didn't take more points off because, hey, at least Vaughn was *in* the episode. And in the end, isn't that what really matters?
