David Anders Joins The Cast Of ABC's "ALIAS"

David Anders will join the cast of "Alias" as a series regular in the upcoming second season of the critically acclaimed spy series. Anders, who played the recurring role of Mr. Sark last season, returns as the young and wildly ambitious freelancer whose close alliance with "The Man" wreaked havoc on SD-6. His character promises to be a strong presence in the spy universe.

Anders' credits include the independent film "The Source" and an appearance in the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen series "So Little Time." His stage work includes roles in "My Fair Lady," "The Diary of Anne Frank," which received an award for Best Ensemble Performance at the Backstage West Garland Awards, and "Rockne The Musical."

"Alias" also stars Jennifer Garner as Sydney Bristow, Victor Garber as Jack Bristow, Ron Rifkin as Arvin Sloane, Michael Vartan as Michael Vaughn, Lena Olin as Irina Derevko, Bradley Cooper as Will Tippin, Merrin Dungey as Francie Calfo, Carl Lumbly as Marcus Dixon and Kevin Weisman as Marshall Flinkman.

"Alias" was created by J.J. Abrams, who executive produces the series along with John Eisendrath and Ken Olin. The series, which is filmed in Los Angeles, is from Touchstone Television.
