Ben's Private Dinner Party

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may have had a great time filming Daredevil together, but the real fun began after the duo left the set and dined out with friends. It's the Daredevil gang at the dinner table, and don't expect to find "Miss Manners" at this party!

In the second season premiere of the Independent Film Channel's Dinner For Five, Ben Affleck chats it up with Daredevil co-stars Colin Farrell and Jennifer Garner, plus good friend director Kevin Smith. Actor Jon Favreau created and hosts the show, and this episode is an hour of no-holds-barred banter, with lots of insider talk and plenty of good ol' boy cussing.

Also on the table for discussion: the actor's upcoming action flick Daredevil. The film packs plenty of physical action. Yet Ben and Jennifer reveal training for the fight scenes left more bruises on their egos. "They use the shame technique," said Garner.

"Jennifer and I were doing something in practice and they like would belittle us," laughed Ben. "They'd mock us," added Jennifer.

When Favreau asked the Alias star how she was cast in Daredevil, Jennifer said: "Basically I'd been the girl kicking ass all year and they were like, 'We need someone who can come in and fight,' and bada bing, I'm there."

Dinner for Five airs Monday, Jan. 20, at 8 p.m. on IFC.
