DVDS: Q&A RON RIFKIN ON ALIAS

by Jessica Mellor

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT PLAYING SLOANE?

I think the script is great and I love getting to play this type of psychologically complicated guy.

DID YOU ALWAYS WANT TO ACT?

I always knew I wanted to get up in front of people and perform. _ I did some plays in school and when I got out of college I auditioned for a soap opera and got the job. I didn't struggle very much.

WHAT IS JENNIFER LIKE TO WORK WITH?

She's miraculous. She's genuinely a kind, generous, decent human being who's beautiful and talented. We're all very close - it's a close-knit family unit. We all care about each other and are mutually supportive.

IF YOU WEREN'T AN ACTOR WHAT COULD YOU SEE YOURSELF DOING?

If I wasn't so deeply involved in acting I would like to have been a perfumer! I can usually tell what perfume someone is wearing if I know it. I have a good sense of that.
