What to Watch: "Kitchen Confidential"

By Jennifer Armstrong

How delicious to see Michael Vartan not only alive and well after his egregious execution on Alias, but also lightening up as Jack's (Bradley Cooper) French chef rival, Michel. And how positively decadent to see the two scruffily dreamy former Alias costars sparring with each other over stolen menu items and hot waitresses. The show hasn't completely gelled (the banter isn't always as funny as KC thinks it is) but it's great to see Vartan out from undercover -- and putting his native French accent to use. Grade: B
