Vartan Still Upset About Missing Out On "Miracle"

ALIAS star MICHAEL VARTAN is still reeling after mising out on a role in his dream movie, ice hockey drama MIRACLE.

The French-born actor was desperate for a part in the hit sports film, which followed the fortunes of the victorious 1980 US Olympic hockey team - but was told he was too old to play one of the real-life heroes.

Vartan says, "Apparently I was too old to be any of the players and too young to be a coach. It sucked.

"Miracle is the best sports movie ever made because the actual sports footage is so real. They chose nothing but kids who had at least a college level of hockey to play, and it had really good actors. But I missed that boat.

"I would love to be in a sports movie."
