Which "Star Wars" character are you?

As the final film hits theaters, we ask celebs for their picks...

By Brian Truitt

A long time ago in a country far, far away, "Alias" star Michael Vartan indulged in his love of "Star Wars." Vartan, 36, who grew up in France, played with his toy X-Wing Fighter, re-creating the adventures of Luke Skywalker. He watched the 1977 George Lucas blockbuster every day one summer. "I knew the lines by heart. After 2 1/2 months, it would be sad if I didn't," he says.

Many kids in the late '70s loved pretending they were "Star Wars" characters. In Vartan's case, it was an imperial stormtrooper. But these days he'd want to be lovable smuggler Han Solo. "He got the girl," says Vartan, who stars opposite Jennifer Lopez in "Monster-in- Law." "He seemed to have more fun than the rest of them."
