Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson set for poker at Crown
PARTY girl turned poker player Pamela Anderson has put her hand up to attend the Aussie Millions Poker Championship at Crown this month.
Anderson's management is believed to be negotiating with event organisers for the famed bikini babe to be a celebrity player in the world renowned tournament.
Anderson was approached to take part in last year's tournament.
The Aussie Millions has grown into one of the "must attend" tournaments on the international professional poker circuit.
Anderson might have picked up some tips from Rick Salomon, who was very briefly her husband and who is a keen card shark.
Anderson is not the only celebrity who will be chancing their luck in the high-stakes tournament.
Former tennis ace Mark Philippoussis is keen to take a seat in the Aussie Millions Main Event, which starts on January 18.
However, rather than put his own money on the table, he is understood to be looking for a sponsor to buy him into the game.
Word in poker circles is that Dannii Minogue's handsome other half Kris Smith, a former rugby player and occasional model, is also looking for a sponsor to buy him into the tournament.
Meanwhile, regular Melbourne visitor and poker fan Michael Vartan will touch down in town next Thursday. Delta Goodrem's fiancee Brian McFadden is also expected to play in the Main Event.
