You've had a lot of onscreen relationships. Anything you've learned?
No, because with onscreen romances, you know from the beginning whether or not and how two characters will get together. I wish it were that easy! I wish there were road signs in real life of what to do and how the hell to do it. But I guess that's what makes it fun. Or not!
You were born in France. Is there a difference between French and American women?
I think, ultimately, the French culture is a little more in tune with its romantic side, just by nature of its history and the way French people live life. They're a little more emancipated, a little less worried about what people think. Then again, I've met women in America who are all that and then some!
Are you in touch with your romantic side?
I go back and forth. I'm single, so there are some days when I sit on my couch watching football and think, "Wow, no one's going to ask me to go antique shopping!" Other days I think, "It'd be nice to have someone here who I care about so we could go for a nice walk." I think I'm a romantic guy once I feel safe.
Scrubs: sexy, or don't wear them?
It depends who's wearing them!
So what's the sexiest thing a woman can wear?
I don't have a specific outfit I love. One time, I saw a girl at the gas station Ñ she hadn't done her hair, didn't have makeup on, was wearing sweats. And she looked so naturally beautiful, I asked her out right there. I like the slob look. I think that's really sexy.
