Love Blooms for Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Vartan

When HawthoRNe kicks off its second season on June 22, viewers of the TNT medical drama will finally get to see Christina (Jada Pinkett Smith) let her guard down. She and Dr. Tom (Michael Vartan) -- who experiences a life-changing event (notice his broken arm) -- are giving romance a shot. "Season 1 was about Christina moving on from the death of her husband," says exec producer and showrunner Glen Mazzara. "This year, her relationship [with Tom] is at the forefront. But things get complicated -- Christina has a lot of inner demons."
