Jada Pinkett Smith To 'Heal' On TNT

By Post Staff Writer

SPOILERS!

JADA Pinkett Smith could be dynamite on TNT.

The movie star has signed a deal with the cable channel to star in and executive produce a new one-hour drama called "Time Heals," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

She is producing the show in conjunction with former NBC entertainment chief Jamie Tarses.

The drama will follow the life of a North Carolina hospital nursing director and single mother - played by Smith.

No word on if her husband, box-office behemoth (and former sitcom star) Will Smith, will drop by for guest spots.

"Time Heals" is among an ongoing slate of complex dramas developed by TNT. It's biggest hit, "The Closer" with Kyra Sedgwick wrapped up its summer season earlier this week. That show is slated to return in January.
