Michael Vartan Joins TNT's Time Heals

After his role on ABC's short-lived Big Shots, Alias star Michael Vartan is giving the small screen another go.
Vartan has been cast as Jada Pinkett Smith's costar in TNT's medical drama, Time Heals, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
The series, set to debut later this year, centers on Pinkett Smith's Christina Hawthorne, a strong but caring nursing director at a North Carolina hospital. Vartan will play Tom Wakefield, the hospital's director of medicine and a possible love interest for Hawthorne.
Vartan replaces Jeffrey Nordling, who played Wakefield in the pilot and is currently playing 24's Agent Larry Moss.
