Arnett: Role developed just in time

In 2003, Will Arnett, who plays the oblivious and hilarious Gob on "Arrested Development'' (tonight at 8:30 on WFXT, Ch. 25), quit television.

In addition to the side-splitting second season of "Arrested Development,'' Arnett can be seen in the upcoming film "The Great New Wonderful'' and as Michael Vartan's buddy in the Jennifer Lopez movie "Monster-in-Law.'' He, Poehler and several other improv players also made a pilot for VH-1 that re-creates all the classic scenes from "Sixteen Candles.''
