Vartan to Enter 'Photo'

Michael Vartan is set to star opposite Robin Williams in Fox Searchlight's psychological thriller "One Hour Photo," produced by Killer Films.

Vartan will play a man whose family becomes the obsession of Robin Williams' character, who works at a local one-hour photo shop.

Slated to begin production on Monday, pic was written and will be directed by Mark Romanek. Producers are Christine Vachon, Stan Wlodkowski and Pam Koffler.

Vartan, previously featured in "Never Been Kissed" and "The Next Best Thing," wrapped a starring role opposite Anjelica Huston, Julianna Margulies and Joan Allen in TNT's two-part, $20 Million miniseries "The Mists of Avalon," scheduled to premiere next year.

Vartan is represented by ICM and manager Stephen Hanks.
