Club a Rogue's gallery

By Fiona Byrne

Thanks to Girasol for the picture!

PRODUCTION wrapped on the killer crocodile flick Rogue on Friday with US star Michael Vartan and director Greg McLean hitting the town to celebrate.

They popped up at their favourite party place, Prahran night club Boutique, late Friday night.

Boutique has become the unofficial drinking hole for the Rogue team, who have partied at the nightspot almost weekly since the production moved from the Northern Territory to Melbourne.

Vartan, who made his name in the US TV drama Alias, heads back to the States tomorrow.

Cast and crew caught up for a major end-of-shoot party in South Yarra last night.

While the actors are heading off to new projects, McLean, who also wrote the script, is likely to spend the rest of the year working on post-production of the outback horror/thriller.

The film, about an American journalist who comes to Australia and is menaced by a man-eating crocodile, has been financed to the tune of $25 million by Hollywood heavyweights Bob and Harvey Weinstein. It is expected to be released early next year.
