Armageddon? No, but it certainly looks like it. Turns out Sark is just playing with his new toys.

Sydney and Weiss are getting drunk, sharing memories, and just being funny. It's a little depressing really. Back at the office, Sydney enters the ring for her first day with Vaughn and his first wife. Most awkward. Moment. Ever. Sydney smiles at Lori like you smile at your boss when he asks you to work the weekend: like you just want to kick his face in a little bit. While discussing the newest mission, Syd and Lulu have a big catfight. Dixon is the worst boss in the world-- Kendall would have had that nipped in the bud right away.

Anyway, Leslie tells Vaughn she hates Sydney because she's reacting too emotionally instead of thinking with her brain. Cause you know, that would just be ludicrous! Vaughn tells her he loves her and to give Sydney a break. She's had a lot to deal with. Enter Jack and the sole voice of reason and sanity on the show anymore to tell Sydney that the NSC has very blurry footage of Syd killing Sark's dad. They haven't figured out it's her yet, but it's only a matter of time. Jack says he'll take care of it.

Cut to Syd and Weiss in the back of a van in Mexico (there's a joke in there somewhere). They're going after Sark before he starts playing with his toys again. He's making some sort of deal. I've given up understanding the plots, so this summary is just going to be full of snark. : ) Vaughn works flawlessly with Sydney, reminding her of old missions in order to save her life. Lizzy eyes him intently, and she doesn't seem to like how well he and Sydney work together. Weiss enters with some information about the weapon Sark is using, called Medusa (there's a wife joke in there somewhere...).

Later, Jack pays off a computer whiz to come up with some way to alter Syd's murder image. Libby, Syd and Vaughn all share a very uncomfortable plane ride. More uncomfortable than sitting in between a fat guy and an old women in coach while having to watch a Howie Mandell movie with stale peanuts. The wife wants to have a chitchat about how unfortunate the whole situation is. And it is, Syd admits. She doesn't hate Linda, she hates the whole situation--just as we all do.

Well you know what I hate? People who can't decide if they're British or Austrailian. Pick and accent and stick with it please! Although apparently she's a Virginia (?) Senator's daughter, so Lord knows where the accents came from. Maybe she's just doing the Madonna thing and being British for a little while. Blimey!

Anyway, off they go to visit Sloane. They need access to a building that only he can grant them. Before they leave, Sloane takes a jab at wife #1 by mentioning how close Vaughn and Syd used to be. He smiles. Wow- Sloane really isn't a bad guy! Back in Moscow, Syd looks amazing in her outfit, as does Vaughn in his tux. Vaughn can't help but stare longingly at her for a moment before remembering his first wife back at home. They do a quick change in an elevator and get into their Army scrubs disguise. Sark, meanwhile is killing people on the first floor and he's moving toward them fast.

Back at the CIA, Jack is loading a computer virus that will stop Syd's image from fully loading (he could have saved himself time and money by just loading AOL onto Marshall's computer. That would keep ANY image from loading correctly). It works, and Syd is safe for this week. Syd and Vaughn make their way through a pipe in order to avoid being killed. Back home, Weiss gets Sydney a book that she mentioned she'd really loved, but lost in the fire (1st ed. Alice in Wonderland). She's very teary and it's probably the sweetest moment we've seen yet. Aww, Weiss is the man. I love me some Weiss.
