A Note About Our Earlier Note About the Alias Content on This Site
We'd like to thank everyone for their generous and kind offers to help us with the various sections on our site that we have discontinued. Please keep in mind, however, that it's not a matter of us not having time to do it -- we simply don't want to continue them on our site. Our decision wasn't based on an inability to do the work. Yes, running a Web site is a lot of work, and yes, we've made sacrifices in our personal lives as a result. As long as we enjoyed Alias, our efforts in this area were a labor of love. This is no longer the case. We simply do not enjoy the show anymore. That said, we request that people please stop e-mailing us questioning why we "didn't ask for help," as nice as the offers are. We didn't need help -- we're just not interested.
In conjunction with the above, many people have also written us with their assumptions of why we decided to cut back on posting Alias news. Many of these assumptions, unfortunately, are erroneous. We feel no real need to justify our position or our decision regarding Alias. We attempted to explain this in the best way possible, including posting our "rants" for the better part of six months. As we've said before, The Safe House was originally started as a Michael Vartan site, as indicated by our collective "calling," The Vartan Hos. Each of the Webmistresses either started watching Alias because of Michael Vartan, or continued to watch as a result of him. Enjoying the show for two seasons was an added bonus. We recognize that there are viewers who are still either deeply, or moderately, invested in Alias. We also recognize that, currently, this is Michael's only project. Again, we will continue to post news, pictures or information as they relate to Michael or the areas that still capture our interest.
Thank you!
Peace to All - The Safe House Webmistresses
