We've also updated the Daredevil page. Yes, yes I know it was supposed to be updated yesterday. The operative word being 'supposed'. But my evil computer went over to the dark side once again and messed up the update. What? My own computard fault?? Surely you jest...

Just 1 day until an all new Alias!
Sorry for the late update today, everyone! Fortunately, that doesn't change the fact that Kate's got new One Hour Photo pictures and quotes, and new Daredevil spoilers!
Kate's also updated the Music Recs page! Everyone's suggestions have been fabulous! Personally, I'm thinking of making myself a mix "Songs That Should Be On Alias" CD. :)
Lugia, despite the fact that her computer is completely on the fritz, managed to update the Ho List, and also put up new episodes in Debriefings, like The Box, Part 1 and Part 2. Check it out!

Only 2 days until an all new Alias and Jennifer Garner on Letterman!
TGIF! What a way to start the weekend: Jennifer Garner is going to be on Letterman tonight! Be sure to set your VCRs, especially if you're wanting to catch Paul McCartney on Leno. In case you get them mixed up (I can't be the only one! ... Or can I?), Letterman is on CBS.
Thanks to those that reported to us about Victor Garber on the Gilda Radner special! Speaking only for myself, it never crossed my mind that he would discuss or mention Alias, and he didn't. But apparently they showed clips of Victor when he was younger (intriguing!) and from when he worked with Gilda Radner, and the segment in general was pretty good.
Michael on Fox Sports Roundtable!
In the mood for a truly fabulous, must-see Vartan experience? (Like we have
to ask!) Lori at vartanetc, Michael's excellent official site, has put up
clips from his recent Fox Sports Roundtable appearance. Keep those drool towels handy,
folks. And we'd like to give a "hip hip Ho-ray!" shout-out to fellow
Roundtable guest Jack Haley, who seemed almost as peeved about "some dude
out of nowhere" No!Augh as we were! We'd make him an honorary Ho, but,
somehow, we don't think Jack would appreciate that.

We at vartanho.com absolutely do not endorse or encourage gambling outside of a legal casino. No, really. Why are those bookies coming after me?)
Reminders!
Just to make sure that people are aware of things, when you click on the picture of Michael in the Picture of the Day box, it'll take you to the actual picture of the day. That one in the box is just so lovely, we couldn't bear to change it day in and day out. I just don't want anyone to miss out on a great picture because of ambiguity (us former Philes have ambiguity issues, thank you very much CC!).
Secondly, we would like to remind everyone that if you are going to take articles or anything else from the site, please credit our site, preferably with a link! We're sure everyone would try to do that, and we all forget things now and again, but we just want as many people as possible to experience the Ho-dom. :) Thanks!

Only 3 days until an all new Alias! Yay!
More woes for us Hos! ;) For some reason all our mighty Ho computers went "POOF!" on the same day, so this update is a little late. But don't worry, we've lots of new things in store for you and we're sure they'll catch you up in no-time! :)
Vartan Ho #100!
We'd like to take a moment to give a shout-out to our newest Vartan Hos! We've already recruited over 100 Hos so far! Whoo hoo, you all rock! Thanks so much for joining our little obsession! An especially warm welcome and congrats to Rach, Vartan Ho #100! Now lets keep this awesome trend going and sign up in case you haven't already! ;)
Kate has been busy with updating the music recommendations! Thanks so much for submitting all the wonderful song ideas! Now let's keep our fingers crossed that J.J. will actually use some of these on the show! ;)
Looks like Victor Garber did indeed make an appearance on Gilda Radner, but we've yet to hear if Alias was mentioned. As far as we know they showed some wonderful clips of his previous works, but gave no inside into his current projects! If you know more about this and feel we should post a follow-up, please let us know.
New articles!
We added a few new articles to our 2002 Alias archive. They include Jennifer Garner on People's Most Beautiful People 2002 list, Jennifer mentioned as one of the Shining Stars of the 2001-2002 Season (Congrats! We couldn't agree more!) and some recent Entertainment Weekly letters to the editor which we're especially proud to showcase! Keep up the great work, Aliasts and Vartan Hos! :)

It's May! 4 days until an all new Alias, and here's today's "Tolstoy long" update
Happy Beltane and May 1st, everyone! To celebrate May Day, the Vartan Hos suggest you run to your nearest video store to rent or buy Mists of Avalon and watch Michael's incredible performance as Lancelot. Also, you're not going crazy if you see a former Alias guest star in the leading male role. Edward Atterton, as Arthur, was also cast as Daniel Hecht, Sydney Bristow's murdered fiancé.
... Okay, I'm terribly sorry to interrupt this update to comment on a show that I hardly ever watch, but last night's Buffy traumatized me. I can't stop thinking about it. Oh, and I love Spike, because he's all British and brooding and stuff. I sometimes wonder how our beloved Michael would sound with a British accent. ::happy bliss:: ...

President of ABC resigns ...
Since this pertains to ABC, the network giving us our (not frequent enough!) VaughnFix, we thought this story, which you can read here, might be interesting. The article is rather long, but you can get the gist of what's going on in the first few paragraphs. It must be sung, however: "Three little monkeys jumping on the
bed, one fell off and bumped his head ... so there were two little
monkeys jumping on the bed, one fell off..."

The Kings lost to Colorado on Monday, 4 to nothing. Or is it the other way around? This Vartan Ho has a hard time understanding sports (although she wants to make a completely gratuitous shout out to the Oakland A's, and because she's typing out today's update, she'll do so. Go A's!), but nonetheless, we're all sorry on behalf of Michael that the Kings didn't win.

We've got a huge update for everyone! To begin with, new Almost Thirty Years pictures from Touchstone. Commence celebration. These really are fantastic pictures. ::drooling::
Kate's updated the spoilers section with info on the upcoming Ron Rifkin movie, The Sum of All Fears (okay, so I'm mostly psyched about Ben Affleck). By the way, did anyone catch the Victor Garber appearance on the Gilda Radner special last night? If you want to share what you thought, email us!

Decoded French!Vaughn Speak & Promo Watch
If, after you picked yourself off the floor post FrenchSpeaking!Vaughn, you wondered what exactly he said, the translation is pretty much, "If you weren't going to let us do our work, you should have told us before we made all the arrangements to come here." For the record, what Vaughn actually *said* was, "Si vous alliez pas nous laisser faire notre travail, il fallait nous le dire avant qu'on fasse tous les préparatifs pour venir venir, hein!"
Promo Watch: Not because she is remotely sad or obsessed or anything, but
Souris, Vartan Ho #4, taped The Sixth Sense on Sunday night just to
fast-forward through it for Alias commercials. She reports: "They had two,
and they were the same. One brief glimpse of Vaughn and about 137 shots of
Will. Seriously, does a shot of Will looking at a newspaper really make you
wanna tune in for the episode? I didn't think so. Ah, well, at least we got
a Sark-shot. Now if we don't get a certain shot of Vaughn for the finale
promo (and if you've seen the spoiler images, you know the shot I'm talking
about!), it will be irrefutable proof that the ABC promos department is run
by monkeys. BTW, I have developed a Pavlovian response to blue oxfords.
Somebody in an NYPD Blue promo was wearing one, and I jumped every time I
saw it, thinking it must be Vaughn!"
And while we're on the subject of ABC, we have a bone to pick with the
Official ABC Alias site. In the photos section, there's a "couples"
category. They have two pictures in there: one of Syd and Will and one of
Syd and Jack. Quite ignoring the rather dodgy implications of putting a
Syd/Jack picture in a "couples" section (perhaps "duos" would be a more
fitting term?), we're rather perturbed that there's not a picture of Syd
and Vaughn there. We know there's one available, because it's on the ABC
media site and it was used in Entertainment Weekly! Get it together,
people!

6 days until an all new Alias...
Happy Monday, all! To get this week started properly, Lugia added an article to the Expositions section from a 2001 Variety, which you can read here. It's interesting to look back at the press from the beginning of the season and think about the changes in the show since then. For instance, back then there was an appalling lack of Vaughn! These days, there's still an appalling lack of Vaughn, but at least it's slightly less appalling. ;)
Want to see Alias on DVD?
You aren't the only one! Debby passed on this link from Amazon.com; although there are currently no plans to release Alias to DVD, there are nevertheless already people signing up to be emailed if/when the show does go that route. Amazon is apparently keeping track of how many people sign up, and will then inform the studio as to that number. You can sign up here, if you so desire.
Share in the Victor Garber lurve!
Don't forget, Victor Garber will supposedly be on a Gilda Radner special on ABC tonight at 8/7c. Of course, I've only seen one commercial for it, and no press about it, so I'm either missing something entirely or they've pulled it. I wouldn't put it past ABC; after all, they are Run By Monkeys...

Just a reminder that Alias will not be shown tonight but will return next week. We understand. We're disappointed, too. Stanley Cup Playoff update, by Spygirl, Vartan Ho #5:
L.A. iced over Colorado last night with a final score of 3 - 1. This is an incredible comeback for the Kings as they were down in the series until last Thursday. Winning tonight keeps L.A. in the playoffs through game 7. All of us at The Safe House offer a hearty congratulations to the Kings and their fans!
