INCOMING TRANSMISSION ...

Thursday, December 5th, 2002 Update by: SB, Vartan Ho #2

Spoiler Update: 6:30pm EST
Some exclusive spoilers have been added to that ep-to-end-all-eps! At least, that's what it's sounding like, IMO. Run, read, enjoy :)

Has VG serenated you lately?
Amy from Alias Altruism informed us that Victor Garber singing "I'll Be Home For Christmas" is on a Christmas CD entitled "Broadway Cares: Home for the Holidays". The CD is on sale now in major music outlets in the US, or you can buy it at amazon.com; proceeds will benefit the Twin Towers Fund, the American Red Cross, and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA). Thanks, Amy!

Forget the Emmys; it's all about the Hangers!
According to Unico24 at TWoP, Ms. Garner was on E! News Live Tuesday. She and Scott won the Golden Hanger Award for Best Dressed Couple. The Golden Hanger Awards will air Monday Dec. 9th at 10pm on E!.

Have a great Thursday! Be careful on the roads if it's snowing where you are (of course, be careful in general!), and try not to be too jealous of me just because I'm wearing a t-shirt in December. ;) ;)

JG on Leno
According to our sources, Jennifer is scheduled to be on Jay Leno on Friday, December 13 (along with musical guest Prince!). We haven't been able to confirm this on the NBC site, as their listings only go through the 9th, but we'll keep you posted.

If the Ho List was an SAT II test
We'd have a perfect score! Lugia's updated the Ho list, and we want to give a shout-out to Vartan Ho #800, LERM!

Hmm. A Vartan Ho SAT II test... Maybe we need to write to collegeboard.com with the suggestion? ;)

Final ratings for Sunday's ep
Alias ranked 59 (tied with Seventh Heaven) with a 5.2 rating. C'mon people! Let's show TPTB that we can improve the ratings *without* oversimplifying the show. Get out there and recruit! (...Or not. I mean, it's not like I can check up on y'all. But share the Vartan Love!)

That's it for this Wednesday; have a great one!

Recap: Episode 12 spoilers!
If you missed last night's late update, there are new episode 12 spoilers, thanks to freelancer.

The Watch Scene
TV Gal has her take on The Watch Scene from Sunday's episode, which we've added to the misc. news page. Personally? I agree. :)

Speaking both of the misc. news page and Sunday's ep, there's a ratings blurb from MediaWeek.com, as well as the ratings release from ABC.

Memo to JJ: we're here to help
Lugia's added two new season 2 bloopers as well as another page of the wishlist. JJ, this is a free consultation, so take advantage!

That's it for today; have a great Tuesday!

Episode 12 spoilers!
What's the computer equivalent of wind sprints? Run, don't walk, over to the Episode 12 page, where Souris has added a new synopsis. Thanks to freelancer for these!

Daredevil Merchandise
J at the Jennifer Garner Group found some funny & cool new DD items listed at Comics Continuum. Here's what they write: "The Daredevil movie's release on Feb. 14 will be accompanied by many forms of merchandise. Here's a rundown of some recent announcements.
* Daredevil vs. Spider-Man, a collection of animated episodes, will be released on DVD and VHS by Buena Vista Home Video on Feb. 12. The DVD will contain four episodes of Fox Kids' Spider-Man series that guest-starred Daredevil and Kingpin, an episode of the Fantastic Four guest-starring Daredevil and an original Spider-Man episode.
* Encore has released the packaging and screenshots for its upcoming Game Boy Advance Daredevil game. Game elements include 23 levels with locations through New York City, 15 characters and 6 bosses, Daredevil's signature billy club, Radar Sense that allows players to "see" the world via Daredevil's four other super-keen senses; secrets and pick-ups including movie stills, alternate costumes and comic covers.
* Neca will be releasing Head Knockers of Daredevil and Elektra in February. Neca also produced Head Knockers of Spider-Man and Green Goblin from the Spider-Man movie.
* Marvel Comics has released two images from its adaptation of the film. The 48-page one-shot is written by Bruce Jones, with art by Manuel Garcia. It will be in stores on Jan. 15."
View all the related pics on their site! Pretty cool! This movie will be SO big!!

Overseas Ops & Alliance
I've finally added some content to our Overseas Ops section. <g> I hope it might prove helpful to all of our international visitors. :) And for curious US citizens, too. ;-) As always, if you find something neat, feel free to send it in. :)

The Alliance has also been revamped. If you by any chance don't see your link anymore, feel free to resubmit it! But normally, only dead links have been removed or obsolete links updated. But if your site was under construction during that time, please write us with your link again when it's finished! We'd love to check it out. :)

That's it for this Monday! Hopefully news will pick up again soon! <g>
