INCOMING TRANSMISSION ...

Thursday, January 2nd, 2003 Update by: Lugia, Vartan Ho #8

Busy start into the new year
The news are picking up again. First we'd like to remind everyone that Bradley has a new TV movie coming out: "The Last Cowboy". You can re-read its press release and visit our spoilers page for it, if you are so inclined. And then be sure to catch its World Premiere on Friday, January 17 (9 PM E/P) on the Hallmark Channel. It's also starring Jennie Garth, Lance Henriksen and M.C. Gainey.

Last Year in Review
Syd & Vaughn made the San Francisco Examiner's Best of 2002 list as "Best TV Duo/Uncouple". Read the full mention here. Thanks to Laura for sending this in. :) And I might add that this was hopefully the LAST time anyone has spelled Vaughn's (and Sydney's) name wrong!

Secondly, The Boston Phoenix mentions Alias in *first* spot on their best list. You can read that on the same page. Enjoying every second of it! <g>

Spoiler Teases
We'd love to report some definitive stuff, but y'all know Wanda. ;) She's hinted at some major developments, though, so it's a must-read for Spo-Hos. It's all pretty exciting at this point, since it's the best fodder for discussions, but we just *know* that Alias wouldn't be Alias if it wasn't playing out totally different. Gotta love that!

That's it for today. Doesn't seem much, but if our calendar is any indication, it's the calm before the storm. Have a relaxing Thursday! :)

Happy New Year!!
There's no news today, so we'd just like to take a second and wish everyone a very very happy start to the new year! May it bring peace, prosperity, and good tidings to all. :) Happy 2003!!

New Year's Eve 2002
On the eve of 2003, the Vartan Ho webmistresses would just like to say "thanks!" for coming to the site and sharing in the Michael and Alias love for much of the last year! If anyone had told us a year ago this is what we'd be doing, we would've told them to lay off the crack pipe; overall though, we've been greatly enjoying ourselves, and we hope you all have, too! :)

Everyone must be preparing for a New Year's party
Because there isn't much news today, just a Mr. Jennifer Garner (Scott Foley) blurb about hopes for 2003.

I hope everyone has a great time tonight, and above all, be careful, especially on the roads! I know the weather may be troublesome in some areas, on top of everything else. And here's a toast to Michael, Alias, and everyone for a prosperous new year! :)

Rank alert
Souris caught a glimpse of Jennifer during a commercial for the next new "Rank" on E!: "The 25 Sexiest Women (And 7 Who Scare Us)" so one can assume she's included. Unfortunately, it airs Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. -- opposite episode 12. Maybe someone with two VCRs can report back to us? :)

Completely random trivia
Which is, of course, the best kind. Charlotte kindly sent us some research/trivia about Michael's appearance in the UK TV series "Spender." Chalk it up to my being a former X-Phile who was in elementary school in America during the early 90s, when the show was on, but "Spender" just makes me think of everyone's favorite Weasel Boy. (Yes indeed, Haladki had some mighty large weasel loafers to fill.)

Enjoy your last Monday of the palindrome year!
