The hiatus is felt
That's right, there's no news for today. Shocking, isn't it? Perhaps something will come in this afternoon, but in the meantime, why don't you take the opportunity to either read some of our fellow Hos fanfic, or even head over to Credit Dauphine for a wider selection.
Feel like changing the wallpaper on your computer? You could choose from our selection. Or, in preparation for tonight's rerun of The Box, brush up on some of your favorite lines.
And, as always, have a terrific day!

Wanda on Emmys
More Emmy speculation, this time from E!'s Wanda:
Freshmen Face-Offs: Which First-Time Contenders Will Get an Emmy Nod? As for the nominations, don't forget that they'll be announced Thursday at about 5:30 am Pacific... and I'll do my darn best to be here with the (pertinent) results as soon as they come in. :)
New collages
Daz, Vartan Ho #285, sent in two cool new (shippery!) collages, which you can of course find in Rambaldi's Studio. I've just got to mention how much I love fan art and videos and fic ... these things are half of what makes being a fan so fun! :)
2 new articles
This month's Keyboard magazine has both a Behind the Scenes with Alias composer Michael Giacchino, and a Q&A with ... J.J., transcribed by Souris. Both are definitely interesting reads about an integral part of the show that so often is taken for granted.
And on that note, have a lovely Saturday!

Site updates
Spygirl has added another tool to the collection! The tool of the week for Almost Thirty Years has been added, courtesy of Mel TM.
Mel also added a new agent profile, this one for Dixon. Everyone should take special note of the 'trivia' part of his profile for a reminder of one of the many reasons Hos love Dixon!
Speaking of Hos, we want to give a shout-out to Ho #300, Lily. Woohoo! Those of you who aren't yet Hos, what are you waiting for? And those of you who are, spread the Ho Love! :) Some day we may have to storm the ABC offices, so we should be prepared. ;)
Bradley at Reign of Fire premiere
The Reign of Fire premiere was on Tuesday, and there are some pictures of Bradley, who was in attendance, that you can see here, along with a news blurb about the premiere. Judging from the celebrities in attendance, I can say that I wish I'd been there. <g>
With that, have a wonderful Friday and fabulous weekend!

Site updates
Our resident fashion assassin, Souris, has added her latest target: Parity. Hilarious as always, so go read it! :)
Kate's also added another blooper from Parity to Section Disparate. (In case you were wondering, Souris was the one who caught this while watching Parity. Three guesses why she was watching that episode. <g>)
One Hour Photo
German Hos will want to check out this next item: the premiere for One Hour Photo has been changed! As always, Kate's got the low-down on when it'll now be opening. (Does anyone still say "low-down," or is it just me?)
That's it for now (blasted hiatus!); have a great Thursday!

2 new articles
The first is a press release from the Hallmark Channel about "The Last Cowboy," a made-for-TV movie that Bradley Cooper has a role in. Lugia's archived the press release, which you can read here for more info about the movie. :)
The other article, from Emmy Magazine, is entitled Insightful Notes, Now for the Votes, with Awards historian Tom O'Neil reporting his annual survey.
UK Hos -- movie alert
Thanks to Hugefan16, Vartan Ho #279, for the heads-up about this! "It Had to be You" is on Sky Movies M2 on Tuesday, July 16th at 12. Apparently this has been hard to find at video stores in the UK, so this should be a great chance to catch one of Michael's films. :)
Have a great, and hopefully not-too-hot, Wednesday!

Season 2
Shooting is scheduled to begin on season 2 soon! Check out what limited info there is here.
More Emmy picks
Critics wouldn't be critics if they didn't make their Emmy picks, and you can read the latest ones here. Jennifer and Victor are named, and are both very deserving, I might add.
Zap2it also has a few pre-Emmy speculation articles, one about their shadow Emmy poll, and one from TV Gal discussing her drama picks.
Jen on Rank
Jen was ranked 16 on E!'s Rank: Best Bodies (but among females, was #9). You can check out the listings on E!'s site. If you would rather I just give you a quick run-down, however, I can do that. ;) She beat Angelina Jolie (#17), Cindy Crawford (#25), Denise Richards (#27), and Carmen Electra (#30). Brad Pitt came in at #1, whereas Hugh Jackman was #14, Sting was #15, and the Rock was #18. ... Very, very interesting. Obviously, I didn't rank these individuals, because if I had, the outcome would've been, uh, different, to say the least. ;)
Have a great Tuesday! (Don't forget to click on the Picture of the Day; just because the picture up there doesn't change, doesn't mean the PotD doesn't!)

"The extent to which I am willing to service you is when I offer you a soda."
Was anyone else drooling over HardAss!Vaughn, or was it just me? ;)
"Michael Vartan"
Those of you in the XF community may remember a little song by Bree Sharp entitled "David Duchovny." Well,
our ever-entertaining Souris has filked that song and turned it into
"Michael Vartan." Don't drink anything while reading this! (By the way, we've been wondering...
does anyone know why the heck it's called a "filk"??)
Happy Hour
The Ho Bartenders have been mixing drinks again, and have updated the
Happy Hour menu to reflect their new creations! Check this out now, make a shopping list, and
plan a time to kick back this weekend with some drinks and an Alias marathon. I'd do it myself
if the US didn't have that pesky drinking age. ;)
Alias Museum!
Except ... not really. However, on July 19th, the International Spy Museum is opening up in Washington, D.C.
According to Parade magazine, visitors will get to form a cover identity (wonder how many times "Sydney Bristow,"
"Michael Vaughn," and "James Bond" will be used?), look at satellite photos, ask questions of a
former operative, and see a bunch of spy gadgets; it'll be a Marshall mecca!
You can see the museum's website here.
However, you'll need a Shockwave plug-in to view the site.
Jen on Rank
Don't forget, Jen will be on E!'s Rank: Best Bodies at 10 pm tonight!
That's it for today; have a Vartan-rific Monday!
Miss an update? Check the archive!
