Michael in Esquire
I'm excited because the August issue of Esquire Magazine, which of course features several photos of
Michael, will be in newsstands today. For some reason, though, they put Hillary Swank on the cover instead of Michael (but I guess beggers can't be chosers and all that). :) If you get a copy of this, feel free to tell us about it. Thanks again to Lori at vartanetc for the reminder.

New banner/buttons, wallpaper
Huge thanks go to Jackie, Vartan Ho #101, for our newest banner! She also designed a cool Ho button. And, as if that weren't enough, she also sent in a great Syd/Vaughn wallpaper! (The banner and button are at the bottoms of their respective pages, and the wallpaper is in the middle of its page.) They're all lovely, thanks Jackie. :)
Coincidence?
Once you really start looking, it's amazing what you can find. We're not sure if this really qualifies as a *coincidence* per se, but what if? To find out what I'm talking about (hint: it has to do with Scream 3), check out the Section Disparate.

E!s Ted Casablanca is at it again; you can read his latest drool-fest over Michael and Bradley on our Ted page. The real question is ... why is it that every time I read this guy's stuff I think of Disney's Beauty and the Beast? You know, the scene in the beginning where the three girls are drooling over Gaston, but he doesn't notice because he only has eyes for Belle? Ted kinda reminds me of those girls. <vbg>

Daredevil: Kevin Smith interview
Kate's added the video interview with Kevin Smith about his part in Daredevil to its respective page. I can't believe there's still seven and a half months to go before this movie opens. My mind is boggled.
The ever-so-popular Sunday at 9 timeslot
MediaWeek.com has this article entitled Handicapping the New Fall Season: Sunday 9 p.m., which is basically about how the schedule for this particular timeslot is shaping up, and what can be expected, ratings-wise.
Teen Choice Awards
According to Zap2It, Jennifer is up for Best Actress in a Drama and Alias up for Best Drama/Action-Adventure Series. (Mr. Garner, aka Scott Foley, is also up for Best Actor in a Drama for Felicity.) Too bad there's no Best Chemistry category for TV; but then, we all know Syd and Vaughn would win, so I suppose there'd be no reason for any other couple to be nominated. ;)
Michael on TV
Maybe everyone is far more up on these things than this Vartan Ho, but Kate found a cool search tool for finding out when Michael (or any other celebrity, for that matter) is going to be on TV in the next month. You can access that here, but we'll continue to do our best to remind you when Michael appearances come up. Speaking of which, Michael will be on an Ally McBeal rerun tonight on FX, in an episode called Without A Net (check your local listings for times).

New Daredevil articles
Lugia's archived the new articles on the Daredevil articles page but you can access them directly; they are, from MTV.com: Affleck, Garner Open Up About 'Daredevil', and Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Suit Up For 'Daredevil'. The latter is actually an older article, so you may have seen it before.
New VSR Report and Fashion Assassin!

New Emmy intel
ABC mailed out the "For Your
Consideration" DVDs of the pilot and Page 47 to Emmy voters. Can I just mention how much I would *adore* getting my hands on a copy of the DVD for the pilot?? So Emmy voters, when you're done with it, email me! ;)
Talk back to EW
We Hos feel that the absense of Jennifer and Michael from the It List is appalling. As such, we want to direct those who feel the same to bitch about it straight to EW! At the very least, it might make you feel better. ;) ... If you want to read the entry about the show's costume designer, however, head here.
And speaking of EW ... according to Souris, who finally got her mag yesterday, they *do* list Jennifer as topping the It Tough Babe poll with 32.8%. However, the EW site had been saying the winner was Sarah Michelle Gellar by about 35% to 29%. This led to a general reaction of "huh?," but we've discovered that the poll is still going on
until July 1! In any case, if you want to, go vote for Jen!

Kate added a new coincidence to Section Disparate, thanks to Marifel, Vartan Ho #18! There've been so many already, I shudder to think how long the list will be years from now! And as Mulder said, "If coincidences are just coincidences, then why do they feel so contrived?"

The Amy Awards!
The ballots are in, and Syd and Vaughn took second place as best couple! Clearly the Buffy fans were out en masse. We've archived this here.

No, it's not out yet. But you can still vote for it at Amazon.com. As soon as the studio sees how many people want it, they may go for it! Check out the page anyway. If you scroll down, you can read some pretty funny requests from fellow Alias fans wanting the DVD to be released. So sign up!

Hitting the sauce again!
Souris and Spygirl were busy getting drunk, oh ...wait. I mean conceiving, yeah that's the word, conceiving new drinks for the Happy Hour over the weekend. Yeah, yeah, big lushes! We're trying to form an intervention for them. The drinks are fantastic, so I urge you to go check them out, along with our page for newly appointed 'regular', Mr. Sark. We'd love to hear what you think about this new section!
You're It!
Jennifer was named the 2nd It Tough Babe on page 81 of the newest Entertainment Weekly 'It' issue, losing to Sarah Michelle Geller. The picture they used is the one with the 'Run Lola Run' hair from the pilot. We're a little peeved that Jen, Michael, or the rest of the cast didn't get any of the substantial 'It' nods. I mean Jen won the People's Choice! She's everywhere. If there ever was an 'It' girl...she's IT! The show is amazing. It should have been up there as well. Grr!
Incidentally, Jennifer's costume designer also made the list.
Our 'Mission'...
We've been working very hard on our Mission Statement, and expect that to be coming up within the next week or so. In fact, all of our sections are being worked on so we can get them to you over this summer. So don't worry!
