INCOMING TRANSMISSION ...

Sunday, November 3rd, 2002 Update by: SB, Vartan Ho #2

Take 2: The Indicator tonight?
We sure hope so! In fact, we've spent so much time hoping that we get The Indicator tonight that we didn't have anytime to update ... okay, that's not true, because there's just no news today, but it sounded good. ;) Enjoy tonight's episode and have a relaxing Sunday! :)

Saturday, November 2nd, 2002 Update by: SB, Vartan Ho #2

Recap: Seven episode 8 promo pictures!
If you missed last night's update, you can view the new promo pics here (Vaughn included at no extra charge!).

Press release spoilers
Souris added the ABC press release about our new guest star, including the character's name. This promises to be interesting, at the very least. ;)

OHP, Alias in Australia
Kiryn, Ho #401, informed us that OHP is currently listed as being released nation-wide on January 30, 2003. However, at this point there are no air dates for Alias in 2003.

Articles, articles, articles
To being, there's a Victor Garber blurb on the misc. news page. There's also an Alias editorial article, both thanks to ghostyhead at TWoP for the heads-up.

There are also two Ron Rifkin articles, the first thanks to OLucy at TWoP, and the second thanks to dramaqueen at vartanetc for the heads-up.

Finally, there are 2 minor Ted Casablanca mentions that you can read here.

In case you were wondering, we're just enjoying celebrating Halloween through the weekend... :) Have a great Saturday!

Update: Seven episode 8 promo pictures!
Hot off the press: View them here (Vaughn included).

Read at your own risk!
You'll have to pardon my dryness in this morning's update, as it may be the only way I avoid editorializing my comments on the new spoilers. (Was that an explanation or a violation?) The first bit of (very spoilery) information comes courtesy of Alias scribe Rick Orci, who held a chat last night at Alias Four, and pertains to a particular storyline the writers have in mind.

The second is a completely unrelated news item about a future guest star for this season. Very interesting.

Consider yourself blooped
Yeah, I have *no* idea. This is what happens when one becomes unduly amused with making up words. Anyway, Lindie, Vartan Ho #426, takes us all the way back to that fateful (and very pink) garage scene in the pilot with this blooper. Thanks Lindie!

Looks like a lazy Friday news day around here. I hope everybody got lots of treats yesterday and avoided the wrath of the pumpkin-smashers. Have a great one!

Thursday, October 31st, 2002 Update by: SB, Vartan Ho #2

Happy Halloween/Sahmain!
And to start the day with a treat, here's a new Michael article from Tele 7 jours (French TV Guide) that was translated by cremefraiche on vartanetc. boards.

Music wish list
Kate's updated the music wish list with all the songs that've been sent it! Sorry it took so long, but they're finally up! We had to hold off because of some server problems, but better late than never. :)

New article and video clip
There's a new article from E!online as well as a clip of Jennifer to watch (it's the same one as her long quote near the end... She's still being coy about the romance!). Thanks to lilloppy at vartanetc. boards and Allison for the heads-up.

Halloween Hos
Well, not so much, but it was the alliteration. Anyhow, the Ho List has finally been completely updated, so enjoy your numbers!

And finally... spoilers!
Some spoilers for Salvation have been added, so read with caution.

Have a happy, and safe, Halloween!

Still talkin' 'bout the ol' ep switcheroo
It's short, but the NY Post has an article about, well, pissed-off Alias fans (um, I think that would be us!). Personally, I'm glad to see it, because ABC really needs to understand that this was entirely preventable! Thanks to SpyDaddyRulez on TWoP for the heads-up.

Even more encouraging (although is that the proper word to describe it?), a critic at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer took ABC to task for their behavior. Thanks to dramaqueen at vartanetc. boards for the heads-up.

Reminder: Chat tonight!
Riika of SLOA and Alias Four sent out a reminder that tonight is the chat with Alias writer Rick Orci. The chat starts at 7 *Pacific* (just so we're totally clear, that's 10 Eastern, 9 Central, 8 Mountain...) The moderators of the chat would like you to have a question ready before hand (if you want to ask a question, that is; it's not a requirement). There are two ways to get to the chat login. Go to Alias Four and click on the chat link or go to chat.aliasfour.com.

Fall fashion and young love
Makes me think of Paris (which makes me think of France, which makes me think of Michael!)... anyhow, Souris has updated both the Fashion Assassin and VSR Report. Rejoice!

Kate's also added bloopers to the season 1 and season 2 pages.

German Hos: OHP
According to Melli, who got the information from fox.de, OHP will be released in German theatres on March 6, 2003. Which is (like today's update) better late than never!

Sorry about the belated update, but hey, at least the day is half over! Hope it's been a good one! :)

ABC says: New airdates
ABC sent out a press release which gave the following dates for new Alias episodes:
The Indicator (11/3)
Salvation (11/10)
The Counteragent (11/17)
Passage Part I (12/1)

Meanwhile, Matt Roush got in on the discussion about the ep switcheroo. Thanks to Jenna47 at TWoP for the heads-up.

Calling Agent Weiss
A Wanda video clip says that GG's new show is going to be cut short to make way for NBC to pick up "Watching Ellie," so he'll be coming back to Alias. It's the top clip in the list -- preceded by an ad for an Anna Nicole Smith bobblehead doll. =8-O Thanks to kenyaj on TWoP for the heads-up.

Ho List
If you've submitted a Ho List request within the last few days and haven't received an e-mail invitation to our Ho mailing list, please re-submit your information so we can add you! :)

There was apparently no Alias segment on ET last night as we thought there would be, but it was suggested that this could be due to the episode snafu. Hopefully that'll air next Monday after The Indicator. At any rate, have a great Tuesday!

Clearly, the Rally Monkey runs ABC
Because last night on Alias, the Angels won the World Series. Yeah. Exactly. If you thought you missed Alias last night, or if you were blaming your local ABC affiliate, fear not because last night was, indeed, a rerun of the season premiere. We Vartan Hos are extremely perturbed about this, as you might imagine, and Spygirl has appropriately added ABC to the toolbox. (By the way, I'm also fairly amused that Disney, which owns ABC (email address netaudr@abc.com *cough cough*), is selling the Angels. Maybe they didn't want us to watch Alias, anyway? But I'm mostly just irritated that the Angels won. That's twice Disney ... made me unhappy ... last night!)

In case you can't wait for the ep to air
And just have to find out what would've happened in The Indicator, you can read a super-detailed account or a not-so-detailed account. Alias Media also has downloads and screencaps.

Michael quotes and Kevin Weisman event
In Us Weekly about fan encounters...

TwinnerA sent word that Kevin Weisman (Marshall) will emcee a fundraiser in Scottsdale, Arizona this weekend. The dinner/dance will help raise money for a parents' group trying to eradicate muscular dystrophy.

Alias article
OLucy on TWoP posted the heads-up about an Alias article from the Chicago Tribune. (You'll have to register to read the article.)

What an interesting start to the week it's been; hope everyone's Monday, even though it's not post-Alias, is a good one! Don't forget that there's supposed to be an Alias segment on ET tonight!
