Cinescape Presents TV Mania
This is pretty cool: Cinescape has a review of each episode in the first season that you can read here, thanks to Souris's transcription. We can't help but wonder if the author is a Vartan Ho, too. ;)

If you missed Michael on Last Call last night, Vartanetc. has the clips up already! Whee! I'm just glad Michael didn't choke on that water when Carson mentioned The Scene. ;)

Okay, not exactly, but there's a quote from Eliza Dushku pertaining to a hypothetical fight between her and Jennifer that we've added to the misc. news page. I know who I'd pick to win, and all I'm gonna say is... I've got to start going to the gym!
Yet another blooper
Kate's added another new blooper that was sent in by TwinnerA, VartanHo #96. At least Alias doesn't use time stamps, because then they'd *really* be in trouble. (Oh XF of the year long pregnancy....)
Once again, TMIC (the monkeys in charge) haven't scheduled an Alias rerun for tonight. ::shakes head:: Pull out a tape and watch your favorite episode, or just keep counting down to the premiere: 2 more weeks! Have a great Sunday!

More on JG TV Guide
If you'll recall, yesterday we mentioned that Jennifer is on the new TV Guide. Well, according to Extra, there are multiple covers (at least 3) of Jen with different "looks" for the new TV Guide. We know they're just saving the issue with Michael on the cover for sweeps. :)
Ho List
Lugia's managed to update the Ho List despite a nearly non-existant connection. :) Check out your new Ho number, and enjoy.
It's likely we'll be back in a few hours with some more news; it's another Mercury retrograde, folks, and our computers/connections are feeling it! Apologies for any confusion in the next week or so. :) 15 more days 'til the premiere!

Don't forget Michael's appearance tonight on Last Call with Carson Daly on NBC. Check your local listings for times, but it's generally on at 1:30 am Eastern.
Also, Jennifer will be a guest on "Regis & Kelly in Primetime" on ABC at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. (Other guests are Ben Affleck, Matthew Broderick &
John Ritter.)
JG on TV Guide
According to SandraR on the vartanetc boards, a new TV Guide cover with Jennifer Garner on it was shown on Access Hollywood last night. Souris was able to freeze-frame the shot and it says, "ALIAS: Jennifer Garner spices up TV's hottest spy game with amazing disguises and more romance!" ... We're not sure whether to say "Yay!" or "Uh-oh" about the romance thing, given the No!Augh debacle and the "unexpected" love interest quote....
New blooper, Fashion Assassin!
Kate's added a new blooper, thanks to Lindie, Vartan Ho #426. I'm thinking the editors for Alias should get fans to be their assistants!
Souris has written another Fashion Assassin! Yay! This time it's for Mea Culpa (...mea culpa, mea maxima culpa... yes, I just came from my Latin class, why do you ask?).

One year later...
Speaking on behalf of myself, I can't think of anything eloquent enough to properly comment on the events of one year ago today. I'm sure we all know where we were, and the media will be doing enough focusing on the events without me adding my two cents. Instead, we'd like to take this opportunity to link again to the New York State World Trade Center Relief Fund, which has done lots of work for the surrounding communities of the World Trade Center. You can make a donation by mail, phone, person, or internet. There's also a link from the page to LibertyUnites.org, which collects donations for multiple charities that have been helping in the relief effort.
United we stand, and will continue to stand.

Updated: Thanks to TVFilm411 for the reminder, because I completely forgot: Mists of Avalon is being shown in its entirety on TNT from 7 to 11 *tonight*. Hopefully someone will see this before then and benefit!

She's also added a bunch of new music recs and already started a new season 2 page, so why not add your suggestions?
Souris found this link to news on the Alias comic book, which we will eventually have archived, but don't this morning (sorry). However, we do have a picture of, well, sketched!Syd that you can see here.

Promo *and* episode pictures, plus press release

Star Wars!
No, we didn't suddenly become a Star Wars fan site in the midst of the update; we're talking about Zap2it's Battle of the Network Stars, where stars get seeded like the NCAA Tournament (am I the only one who has *no* idea what that means?). Michael has a 10-seed (again-- me, lost) in the Central Division and is up against Ashton Kucher from That '70s Show. Jennifer has a 3-seed in the Pacific Division and is against Mila Kunis
from That '70s Show. One of these rounds is easier than the other, so go vote for them both so they can make it to the next round!

Or rather, his favorite *blonde* joke (so I suppose don't read it if you're offended by said jokes). Erin sent this in after watching E!Online Rank: Favorite Blondes, which had a small clip of Michael telling the joke: "'What do you call a smart blonde?' (grins sheepishly) 'A Golden Retriever'." <bg> Thanks, Erin!
Win a visit to the set of Alias!
According to Ashley from Alias TV, "Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids is hosting their annual Broadway Flea Market on Sept 22nd. This event is a combo "yard sale" and auction," where one item to be auctioned is a day on the set of the show. Proceeds go to BC/EFA (which is a charity). There's no mention of whether they fly you to LA, but if you're in New York (or have enough dough to hie yourself to NY) and check it out, tell us about it! :) For more information, check out this site.

People poll
Corinne was kind enough to inform us that People online is having an Emmy poll, which (so far!) Victor Garber and Jen are winning for their noms! Not that the Emmy voters are likely to listen to the results of this poll (prove me wrong, Emmy voters, prove me wrong!), but you can vote by clicking "you be the judge" at the bottom of the page (you'll have to vote for the other major categories to get to the Alias ones but it doesn't take long). Only 2 weeks 'til the Emmys! Think if we start sending good vibes now, Michael will show up in a tux?
Correction (9:05 AM): Touch Me scheduling? and OHP ad
Thanks to Leigha, V Ho #267 for clearing this up: the reason the listings on Lifetime's website don't list Touch Me is because, basically, they don't have listings for LMN. Touch Me *is* still scheduled to air on Lifetime Movie Network on Wed & Thurs. Thanks again! (And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, there was some confusion over whether Touch Me would be on this week, which I mentioned in the *initial* update... this is a quick change before I run to class!)
Speaking of MV movies, a OHP ad has been sighted on TV! Gasp, shock! (Clearly, I haven't seen any such ad.) It was on ESPN SportsCenter, for those wondering. :)
VSR, new music section, Ho List
Yes, I'm doing this all at once because I like rocking the boat. ;) First up, Souris has written up another hilarious VSR, this one for Mea Culpa (that reminds me, I have some Latin to read). That's right, folks, the amazing Souris doesn't even stop when she's under the weather. :)
We'd also like to give a shout-out to Vartan Ho #450, Anna Plurabelle! Soon, our numbers will enable us to set out to conquer ABC (er, something like that... no more history right before updating for me).
