INCOMING TRANSMISSION ...

HDMV, Part II
The wonderful, tremendously fabulous Patrick graciously made some more Second Double caps for everyone's enjoyment, so check those out. :) Oh, and have we mentioned lately how much we truly appreciate Patrick?? :)

Wasn't the finale a month ago?
Or some ridiculous amount of time ago... well, at any rate, there's yet another finale article, this one from David Bianculli, whom fellow Philes may remember from XF days. I can't remember what it is he said, but I think Mulder fans were appreciative. Of course, personally speaking (since I seem compelled to give my two cents on everything), I have to dissent and say I sure hope JJ doesn't spend the whole of next season explaining the last two minutes of the finale!

TV alerts
According to a preview I saw, Jennifer will be on tonight's Access Hollywood, so check your local listings for the time and channel. Also, we've added a showing of "It Had to Be You" to the calendar for June 8th at 3pm Eastern, 2pm Central, thanks to mystique. And of course, tomorrow night is the rerun of Michael's appearance on Craig Kilborn, so don't forget about that.

Have a good Thursday; Thank God It's Almost Friday!

Ah, yes.... HDMV
Nothin' quite like a little high-definition Michael (and those other people on Alias <g>) to start your morning. Our most gracious thanks once again to Patrick, who has provided us with new screen caps for Second Double. Yay! There are a few more episodes' captures coming soon, so stay tuned. :)

Christmas in September
That's what it'll be when the Alias DVDs come out if, indeed, there are gag reels included. Thanks to Mel for sending in this article which has JJ mentioning such a possibility. Yes, Hos, JJ may be Santa Claus.

I've always wanted an accent
I only have your typical, non-interesting word pronunciations, but now thanks to Anna, Vartan Ho #307, I can have an Accent anytime I want. She's concocted the latest drink in the Safe House Bar, and while I was just doing a poor job of playing on words, I'm sure that if you have enough of these, you'll notice a change in speech patterns in yourself. ;)

Can you believe May's nearly over? Wow. Tempus fugit and all that, so enjoy the last Hump Day of the month!

So hot, they gave her two #1s...
Yep, Maxim readers put those 1s side-by-side and ranked the lovely Miss Jennifer Garner #11 on their Hot 100 for 2003 list. Maybe it's because I'm not male, but honestly, I know I'm not alone in thinking some of the names on that list are a bit ... well, let's just say I don't understand them. Christina Aguilera got the top spot, in case those of you who didn't click the link were wondering. Thanks to ccryder at TWoP for the link

Ouch. Just ... ouch.
Nielson numbers for Sunday night's rerun, according to Zap2it: "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 7.1/13, kept NBC in front at 9 p.m. CBS' movie and FOX's racing coverage tied for second at 4.8/8. A repeat of "Alias" went undercover, scoring only a 2.3/4 for ABC. I don't claim to understand what each number means, but I know that low numbers are bad. And *wow* are the numbers for Alias low. We're wondering how much had to do with it being a rerun over Memorial Day weekend, and how much was fallout from the finale...?

Latest additions to the House
Kate was busy updating quite a few features yesterday. To begin with, a new Safe House Salute has been added to the All-Stars list. After reading it, I'm sure you'll want to head over to music guide and then to the updated list of music wishes, for inspiration for a new playlist on your computer (yeah, don't deny it, because we all have them).

Hopefully by then you'll be in a jovial enough mood to forgive the Alias editors for their latest blunders. I'm in a forgiving mood, myself, but then, that could be the sun going to my brain.

And on that note, here's to a beautiful (if unofficial) summer day!

...tumbleweeds drifting down deserted streets...
Hello out there! Anyone? Seems everyone remotely related to or interested in Alias has the 3-day weekend off for Memorial Day. So, basically, we've got nothing new for y'all. Take the few extra minutes in your day and hug your nearest family members or friends. Remember those who have served and continue to serve this country. Most importantly, although I realize I should have also said this at the start of the weekend, please remember to drive safely! This is something I'm taking a selfish moment to mention, but taking care on the road is something very personal to me. Do one of your webmistresses a favor by being extra careful. Thanks, and chocolate Vaughns and Syds for y'all. :)

Other than that aside, I've got nothin'. ;) Rummage around in the section disparate and try things on for size. :) Have a fabulous Memorial Day Monday!
