Recap: new promo pics
There are 20 new cast shots (spoilerless) as well as 3 new ep 5 promo pics, but since we posted 'em yesterday, they've really been eating bandwidth. So, in order to not be shut down, we've taken the pics off our server for a while. Deep Thoughts
Not by Jack Handey, but by our own Mel TM. She eloquently wrote out her thoughts on recent developments and we couldn't agree with her more! Obviously if you are overseas and spoilerless, you will want to steer clear, but otherwise, check it out because she states much of what we feel. :)
Battle of the Network Stars
Zap2it's annual competition is continuing here, so go vote for Jennifer! Victor Garber was defeated :( by Jennifer Aniston. Voting in the Elite Eight round is open now and will continue until Tuesday
(Oct. 7), when the Final Four pairings are announced.
Alias soundtrack
Karen wrote to let us know that an Alias soundtrack is going to be released on November 3rd. The official statement says, "In answer to fan demand, and amidst this enormous wave of ALIAS fervor, comes ALIAS, the soundtrack, featuring the thrillingly exciting music from composer Michael Giacchino, who has scored all forty-four ALIAS episodes so far. Also included is the heart-stopping main title theme composed by series creator J.J. Abrams." Sounds great! Actually, it also seems like it would be a great work-out CD. ;)
Your very own MV
Sort of. Kate's updated the music list for the first episode, and wants to remind everyone that if your song on the wishlist makes it on the show, you'll get a little Michael-head pic next to your name, and who doesn't want that? :) So let her know what songs you want to hear!

Better than Dick Clark
Our bloopers are better than his, that is. Or so I like to think. ;) New bloopers were found in both season 1 and season 2, and thanks to Mike for alerting us to a blooper-that-wasn't! And of course, it wouldn't be a new season if there weren't new bloopers.

The Return of the Monkeys
The first season 3 blooper is up, proving that, once again, the editors are monkeys! On crack! I have to say that I would now like to see someone write an AU fanfic with Sidney, Vaughan, Sloan, and Rimbaldi as the starring characters. ;)
Lookin like a million bucks
Or at least $3050. Leah, VHo #428, let us know that Jennifer donated the dress she wore at the 2003 Golden Globes
the Clothes Off Our Backs charity, and that's what the current bid price is (you have until tomorrow to bid). You can also bid on a Hugo Boss suit that Victor Garber wore on the show, which is currently at $500.

Love the Vaughn...
...hate the missus, if you're so inclined (disclaimer of nothing against Melissa George, etc., we just don't want Vaughn married, yadda yadda). On behalf of the Safe House webmistresses, I want to take a moment to say something very, very important: we love Vaughn. We will *always* love Vaughn. In our eyes, he has done no wrong, and we would hope that anyone feeling animosity towards our favorite CIA handler based on the premiere would reconsider; I can certainly understand why Syd is upset, but there are two sides to every story (at least!) and we must remember Vaughn's side. He's not a bad guy. Why are we saying anything? Because word on the street is, there are some new, unfavorable opinions going around about the man... which is certainly testament to Michael Vartan's incredible acting! But nonetheless, we're Vartan Hos, and by extension, Vaughn Hos ... and we just want to do what we're here for, which is to spread the love! Love the Vaughn, hate the ...

Officially Alias
Jen Serio, Ho #1522, wrote to let us know that the Official Alias Magazine is now out, and that there should be a new issues every two months. The next issue apparently has a large picture of Michael on the cover, and there is an interview with him inside. This should be available at major bookstores. Thanks Jen!
Wait, wait, what?
How'd everyone enjoy last night's premiere?! If you're still somewhat confused over what happened, check out the latest episode summary, courtesy of Kate. Speaking on behalf of myself, I liked it. Except for that one part pertaining to the ineligibility of Vaughn. ;) Oh, and Jack looks much less crazy without the beard; I approve. :)
