Sorry about the lack of update yesterday. We're in the process of setting up a new schedule, had tech problems, and what with ringing in the new year, things are a bit hectic right now. ;) So I'll jump right in. We were blessed with these new promo pics for episode 12 on Monday. Check them out if you haven't spotted them on our server yet. They include Jack and the hot new guest star.
New J.J. vague-aries
Zap2it put up a lengthy article with new J.J. quotes "spoiling" what's to come on "Alias." Some of his Abramese needed to be snarked. Though, basically, for better or worse, I felt he was confirming what I had suspected all along. Make of that what you will. ;)
TelevisionWeek's National Critics Poll
More than 40 official TV reviewers from across the US and Canada participated in a poll recently, naming the "Best Shows of 2003." "Now in its 20th year, the TelevisionWeek Critics Poll is recognized as one of the most authoritative surveys of its type in the television industry." "Alias" came in at #18. A real honor. Catching up with various news
Thanks to bex for the following surprise: "On the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' DVD, in the Sneak Peeks section (which every Disney DVD has, of course), it surprised me because there's one for 'Alias'! I guess they thought 'Pirates of the Caribbean' was the right audience or something. It has a lot of shots from that one Super Bowl episode where SD-6 was dissolved. With her on the plane and all."
Illyushka, Vartan Ho #1971, kindly let us know about an "Alias" "cartoon spoof from Australian artist John Cook. For a few years now, he's been doing punchline contests featuring Sci-fi shows. Now he has turned his attention to 'Alias,' and on the Ideas Board you can suggest cartoon scenes as well as 'sevilized' names for the characters (i.e. 'Star Wars'' Darth Vader = 'Daft Vapour'). The first toon features Will, Vaughn, and Syd (although he spells it 'Sid')."
And from Ruby: "There is a poll at IMDb where you can vote for the best and worst of 2003. You could type in Jen for 'Daredevil.'"
