Using your spy intuition
...you should all have realized that Part 3 of Michael et al presenting Bond is up for your enjoyment. This is only tangential, but who else thinks Ewan McGregor should be the next Bond? Yeah, that's what I thought. ;)
It's a new month and you know what that means
Yes, that's right, it means August's caption contest is now open. And of course, we have posted the winners for July. And speaking of Ewan, I have to admit I'm shocked that no one else thought of Moulin Rouge while looking at July's picture. But then, I've seen that movie too often to be healthy.
Enjoy your 12 days before Friday the Thirteenth!

Vartan, Michael Vartan
Today the flashback spy-fun continues with Part 2 of Michael and other "Alias" cast members presenting a Bond movie. I hope it leaves you neither shaken nor stirred!
Late-night Michael Down Under
According to bella47, Vartan Ho #2885, it looks as if channel 7 in Australia has decided to try running first-season episodes of "Alias" on Thursdays at 11:30 p.m. So Aussie Hos can now get
a weekly dose of Michael, if they stay up late.
Why do I always feel as if I need a vacation after getting back from a vacation?

Orlando Bloom is the new Bond
According to the most ridiculous rumor--excuse me, rumour, since it's Brits we're talking about-- I've heard in a good long time. (For those concerned, it's already been shown a complete myth.) However, it inspired me to have today's vid clip be part 1 of the cast of Alias presenting a Bond movie, from 2001. And as Mel said yesterday, thanks again to the lovely Lori for the clips!
Sorry about the late update y'all; we found a lost dog late last night and have been taking care of it, but that has taken up a lot of time that was supposed to be earmarked for other endeavors (like the site). But now that you've had your Michael Moment for today, have a great Friday!

The end of the interview
(That one came from "Unimaginative Headers 'R' Us," by the way.) As you might have guessed,
today we feature the last installment of Michael's E! News interview.
Thanks once again to the inimitable Lori for donating all the clips!
I hope lots of you find more productive ways to spend your day than wishing it
were Friday, which is a Thursday ritual at my office. Heck, it's a Monday ritual at
my office.

Is it hot in here or is it just that MV interview?
And we know y'all have just been waiting on pins and needles for part 2 of that E! News interview from yesterday. :) So, as I am a big fan of instant gratification here it is. I should say I'm a fan of small doses of instant gratification, because you still have to wait 'til tomorrow for part 3. ;)
On a completely unrelated -- and rather belated -- note, I must add my cheers for Lance Armstrong to the fray. Just, wow. Times six. Yay, Lance! And now that we're on the topic of "random," don't forget July's caption contest. I know it says it's closed, buuuut email us some good, original, creative, thinking-outside-the-box captions and we'll just overlook that little deadline, hmm? :)
Happy Hump Day!

Poring through the "Photo" album
For the next few days, we're featuring video clips of an interview Michael did with
E! News back when he was promoting "One Hour Photo".
I don't know whether to be surprised or not that Michael's not big on taking pictures, given his
rather shy demeanor. And hey--it's always nice to see ol' Steve Kmetko again. I always enjoyed him more
than that scary Giuliana.
So, so sorry for the late update! My connection was on the fritz this morning but
it appears to be functional now. Have a great what's-left-of-your-day!

Hot guys on ice
What better way to start the week than with another vidclip of a Michael appearance? Following in yesterday's hockey-themed footsteps, we have E! coverage of Michael from the All-Star Celebrity Hockey Challenge in 2002. There are several clips in the one file. Enjoy!
That's a wrap
According to a report from the Comic-Con this weekend, "Elektra" wrapped principal filming on Friday. (As a bonus, you get Ioan Gruffudd mentions at that link!) So that gives Jennifer approximately, oh, a minute and a half until she has to start filming "Alias" again. Damn, that woman deserves a nice, long vacation.
May your week ahead turn out to be a great one.
