Michael puts his hands to good use
Yesterday, Michael was at the Gibson guitar "Paint For Pep" charity event to benefit Pediatric Epilepsy Project held at the Gibson Baldwin Showroom. You can see loads of pictures from the event here and here and here and here and here and here and here. Thanks to Bonnie for the heads-up! He seems to be having a lot of fun with Julianna Margulies (MoA reunion!) and Greg Grunberg and his kids. And it looks like he painted Millie on his guitar -- awwww! According to the Pep site, the guitars will be up for auction soon. Thanks to redhat for that link! Ah, how nice to wake up to loads of new MV pics.
Sharing the Vartan Love
At the risk of being self-promoting, which isn't at all our intention, we wanted to pass on some news
we got from Paula, Vartan Ho #3426--on page 166 of "Uncovering Alias," the recent unofficial guide to
"Alias," the Safe House is mentioned with this blurb: "While this is undoubtedly the best Michael Vartan site out there, it
is also an excellent general Alias site, with probably the best news
archive we've seen." While we're very happy someone considers us the best MV site, we
wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our visitors. Without you
guys sending us news, pics, and links, we wouldn't be able to put this site together.
So thanks!!
Enjoy your Sunday, unless of course it's finals week for you and you're frantically
studying or cranking out papers, in which case--good luck staying awake! I'm
right there with ya.

Viewing Pleasures
It's a good Christmas shopping day, because it's a slow MV newsday. ;) But that's a good opportunity to point out our permanent MV TV Listings link to the right again. TV-Now.com does a really great job of keeping us all updated on all things MV on the small-screen. But please always check your local listings for confirmation!
Now go out and enjoy the wintery atmosphere! :)

Want to hang out with Michael?
Then break open your piggy bank and warm up your Visa card! The Urban Ecology Institute is having an online auction for
tickets to the "Monster-in-Law" premiere. Oh, to be independently wealthy! Of course, we'd dearly love to see a Ho win this auction. Keep in mind, though, that the city and date are yet to be determined, and the "fine print" indicates that the studio reserves the right to switch it to another of their movies. Frankly, I think that would be extremely bad form of them (and bad PR) to change what people bid on, so I'd hope they wouldn't do that. But Lord knows if I had the money, I'd bid! Thanks to the ever newsy redhat for the heads-up at Vartanopia!
Ah, blessed, blessed Friday!

New "Alias" promo pics!
ABC has released some new promo pics for Season 4 of "Alias," and we have some
beautiful Vaughn shots to share.
Will you get a load of those biceps? Yowza. And is it just me, or does it look like they're
doing a briefing about Chris Carter in that first pic? I can think of some heinous crimes
for which he should be pursued...
Enjoy the pretty and have a great Thursday!

The perils of breakfast
Congratulations to Erin, the winner of the November caption contest! And since December is a month in which a lot of shopping usually gets done, the new picture for your caption submissions fits right in there. Ready, set, caption!
In case you were away for the Thanksgiving holiday and missed the weekend's updates, make sure you check out Saturday's update for a cute old pic of Michael and the results of the birthday project. Now I'm off to take some zinc lozenges to try to ward off this head cold. Bah!

New MV interview from French magazine
As a very nice surprise yesterday, Flo at the VHoChat provided us with the English translation of a new MV interview in the French TV magazine "Tele Loisirs." It touches on many aspects that have been important in Michael's life lately and is a very interesting read! Thanks so much for all your hard work, Flo!
I hope everybody has a productive Tuesday! :) Personally, I'm just glad to be back online after having been cut off for 20 hours. Yikes!

Not So "Total Access"
The way we've been able to puzzle this together, Michael must've appeared on "NFL Total Access" on Friday night, repeated on Saturday morning, and that's the show Amy caught. Alas, it seems they'll do a new show on Saturday night, so Michael wasn't on either then or on Sunday.
We apologize to everyone that tried to catch him and was disappointed! If you want to contact NFL Network, thanking them for having Michael on, inquiring about repeats or suggesting to include him again, you can send an e-mail to TotalAccess@NFL.com.
Amy was kind enough to provide us with a brief recap of what she saw (thanks so much!):
"I flipped over on the 'NFL Total Access' show this morning, and who to my wondering eyes should appear? No, not Santa and the reindeer, but Michael Vartan! Hubba, hubba. Even though I'm a little upset he picked against Eli Manning, I was really excited to see him on there. Michael was offering up his NFL picks for the week with the host.
They talked a bit about 'Alias'' return in January. They showed a clip, but it was an old clip of SpyDaddy giving Vaughn the key to his storage facility, so Vaughn could dispose of Lauren if he wished, and it ended with Vaughn saying that wasn't the way he did things.
After the 'Alias' clip, the host thanked Michael for being on the show. The only pick I remember was that he picked the Philadelphia Eagles to beat the Giants, which turned out to be the right pick. Michael was right on with at least one pick! He was as adorable as ever!"
"MiL" Casting Spoiler
The BostonHerald.com Web site ran a nice article about Will Arnett from "Arrested Development" yesterday, concluding with the intriguing intel that he'll appear as Michael's buddy in "Monster-in-Law.'' We've added the direct quote to our spoilers page. Now I really want to check out that show!
Howdy, Ho!
Wow, I should be careful what I wish for on the What's New Page! Thanks to the masses of Hos that signed up over the weekend, we actually did crack the big 3600! Yay! A special welcome to the Ho with that number, Amber_Waves from Portugal, and everybody else, too! You can check out the updated pages here and here. To repeat one of Chandler's very first lines, "And I just want a million dollars!" ;)
Have an amusing Monday!
