Another chance for a MiL premiere
Happy May! The East Coast premiere on May 5 is still ready to roll, and according to gcapp.org, Michael is scheduled to be there. Whee! There'll be an auction after the event where you can bid on such items as memorabilia from MiL and a walk-on role on "Alias." Tickets are available at the above link. And now let's all cross our fingers that this will go as planned!
MV on The Tony Danza Show
With huge thanks to Leah, Vartan Ho #3747, at the VHoChat we can let you know that Michael will appear on "The Tony Danza Show" on May 11 at noon Central. Additionally, J.Lo will be on "Live with Regis and Kelly" on May 4. Hee, I wonder if Tony's as much a fan of "Alias" as "24."
Since not all of the webmistresses are in town this weekend, we gave the caption contest a few more voting days. We'll post the results soon! Now excuse me while I go out to sit in the sun (though considering how the rest of this weekend went, I'll probably end up doing the opposite). Robbed of premiere pictures
We try to keep this Web site fairly PG-13, so I'm not going to string together all the curses I want to say over the fact that Michael apparently didn't attend the "Monster-in-Law" premiere last night. Apparently it was the final day of shooting for "Alias" for the season, and they had a night shoot. I am unhappy that we won't be getting premiere pictures of Michael. Very, very unhappy. Given his dislike of red carpets, he probably wasn't as upset as his Hos at not being able to make it.
K.C. Masterpiece
For Hos in the Kansas City area, the Kansas City Star is giving away passes to a screening of "Monster-in-Law" on May 12. You'll have to register at the site to get to the form to fill out.
Tickling Michael
Hmm, that's a fun thought. ;) Meg let us know that there's a picture of Michael illustrating the quiz "Have You Met Mr. Right?" on tickle.com. There are also lots of ads for "Monster-in-Law" on the site. Thanks, Meg!
Right. I'm just going to be sobbing quietly in the corner over the whole premiere disappointment thing.

More MiL scenes
You can catch a few new glimpses at MiL on Moviefone. There's a vidclip of Viola sitting down with Charlie to discuss her wedding, and another that's a behind-the-scenes segment a little different from what we saw on HBO. You can also catch the teaser and theatrical trailer. The videos are in a new AOL stream format, so we can't guarantee you'll be able to play them.
Review Boy
Some critics are predicting great things already! We've come across an early positive MiL review at FOXNews.com, which anticipates it'll become "a massive commercial hit." Looks like Michael's career is on track. ;) Speaking of highlights, the world premiere is today, and we can't wait to add pictures!
Drawing to a close
This might be your last chance to bid on an original piece of art from Michael, the guitar he designed for "Paint For PEP." It's only at $1000 right now, while other stars pull figures upwards of $2000. It's a good cause to support for sure, and a fantastic way to show MV appreciation. The auction ends Sunday, May 1. Many thanks to Crunkn8r82 for the reminder!!
Season 6 premiere of CPS
As reported last week, according to amysusanne at TWoP, Michael taped another appearance on "Celebrity Poker Showdown." The next season will premiere on Thursday, August 18, on Bravo, and we assume that's the one including Michael's game. Thanks to discolash at TWoP for the news! MV's opponents are Anthony Anderson, Cheryl Hines, Alex Trebek and Amber Tamblyn, so keep an eye out for the listings.
Now let's wish Michael good luck and a fun time at his movie premiere! Very exciting day!

Freeze the Disease
Michael is on the Invited Celebrities list for this year's
Freeze the Disease, which will
take place on July 31 in Valencia, California. We hope that he accepts (can't imagine why
he wouldn't!) and that some of you guys get to go again this year. We love
reading those recaps (and, okay, maybe looking at the pics too).
It's a dog's life
This is me begging...(haha, I just realized that was a dog activity--oh, you can tell it's
late at night when that amuses me). Uh, anyway, we have less than a dozen
entries for this month's Caption Contest,
and it's closing tomorrow. Why are there dogs on the beach, people? Send in some funnies!
Okay, so Jack Bristow is adorable in his street clothes (or doctor's office
clothes, I guess), but could we STOP with the digging under the skin? Ack!! The
only thing more disturbing I saw on TV last night was the continued presence of
Scott Savol on "American Idol." Seriously, if anyone wants to explain that to me, I
will give you an ear because I just. don't. get. it.

He oughta be in pictures
We've added several new promotional stills from "Monster-in-Law," in which Michael looks quite good. I can only imagine how good he's going to look on the big screen in this movie. The first one in the batch is especially cute! Thanks to Red Hot Jennifer Lopez for these!
Sneaking a peek at some "MiL" scenes
It's a very "MiL" day. Eileen let us know that you can view several vidclips from "Monster-in-Law" in the vidclips section at msn.com. Michael is featured in clips 1 and 3. The trailer is the first one they released. Note that you have to sit through ads for about 15 to 30 seconds before the clips start. Thanks, Eileen!

Lucky 3
We're celebrating our third birthday today, and since that's as much your birthday as ours, we'd like to dedicate it to all of you who keep visiting us and send in news!
We probably wouldn't know half that we do if you didn't keep us briefed, since we can't be everywhere around the 'Net. We spot stuff here and there, but that's nothing compared to the combined power of the Hos! You make the MV cheer that much louder! So we thank everyone who contributes with info, submissions and heads-up about MV appearances or pictures to share with the Ho-dom!
We hope you still enjoy visiting the site as much as we still enjoy doing this together! It started as a labor of love, and now it's a labor of friends. Thank you for sticking with us, and give yourself a little pat on the back today, too!
