Ode to a "Nightingale"
Patrick's back! And he's sent along three pages of his high-res captures from episode 14, "The Nightingale." Just click on the page numbers at the bottom of that page to get to pages 2 and 3. Some very nice shots of Michael in there!
Better late than never?
Now that the season finale of "Alias" has already aired, ABC has released a lot more promo pictures for it. Because promo pictures do a world of good AFTER the episode they're promoting airs. Yeah, I don't get it either, but there they are. The new ones with Vaughn start on the second row.
Humor wanted!
There are only a couple of days left to get in your entries for our May caption contest. We could definitely use a few more entries!
Update roundup
Here are a couple of updates on Michael-related things that we've mentioned before:
The New Line auction of "Monster-in-Law" props is almost over, but there's still time to get in bids. It seems as if a lot of people want to get inside Michael's scrubs. ;-)
Michael is now listed as "confirmed" for the Freeze the Disease charity hockey game on July 31. Still no absolute guarantee he'll be there, since one can never tell what things might crop up in people's lives and schedules, but it looks good now.
I hope you're enjoying your three-day weekend if you have one!

Really cool MV interview
Cinema Confidential has an engrossing interview with Michael from
the "Monster-in-Law" press tour. I would love to see a video clip of him stammering through his
worst-date story. I bet it would be adorable. This article reminds me again, in a lot of ways, that Michael
is such a class act. Very good read.
Clip-hanger
Hey, for those of you who missed that crazy last scene of "Alias" this week, Lugia has
made a clip of it, which you can see here.
Just, um...not right before you go to bed.
The box office update
Just to keep up, to date "Monster-in-Law" has grossed $49,655,244, meaning it'll surely pass the
$50 million mark this weekend, which is cool. It'll have more competition, though, from "Madagascar" and
"The Longest Yard," a.k.a. the Chris Rock bonanza.
Hope you're having a beautiful spring day!

Cool guy, cute dog
Oy, finale week is over, so we need a bit (or a ton) of happy Michael relaxation. We've added a rough cut of MV filming the Stanley Cup promo, courtesy of NHL.com. The finished promo is worth checking out, too. But if that's too intense for ya, just stick with the Michael/Millie interplay. :) One of the most adorable and genuine segments I've ever seen! Note that the audio is missing in some parts.
Hope that'll help with the collective post-traumatic stress disorder. Happy Friday!

No news, so...
I get to work out my angst over the "Alias" finale. While I am seriously not looking forward to a
summer of "Is Michael coming back to Alias in the fall?" questions (no definite answer on that, although
I can't IMAGINE they'd let him go after setting up this kind of story), I have to
say that was one hell of a cliffhanger. I don't remember having
ever gasped that hard at something on TV. What are the chances that the
resolution to this is interesting rather than infuriating? Slim to none? Stuff like that kind of makes you glad they're not waiting until January to show new
episodes this year, doesn't it?
Also, Lena? Don't be a stranger. This show is just better when you're on it.
Marshall and Weiss are a great comedic duo, but Jack and Irina just sizzle. I hope that's
not the last we see of them.

Drop Dead Gorgeous
We've scanned a to-die-for picture of MV from Ocean Drive magazine (May issue), including a little interview. He talks about what it's like to be in tickling scenes, though he doesn't reveal if he's ticklish himself. A new favorite! Makes up for watching the last new Vaughn material tonight.
One pic isn't enough
There are now two more high-res pics on the "MV in New York" page. This time of him leaving "The Tony Danza Show." That way you can investigate better if that's bubble gum he's blowing or just a lense effect. Or, you know, figure out what Starbucks beverage he opted for that day. :) The Star Wars fans are everywhere...
Set in Stone
In case you missed yesterday's Ÿber-length Venice interview, or don't like "reading" scans, we've included a transcript.
Hopefully the "Alias" finale will leave Vaughn in a good place. Though knowing J.J., that will probably not happen. I'm sure it'll be another long summer.

Glossy Michael, but no gondolas
Just when I thought the cupboard was bare, along comes a fabulous, long interview with Michael from Venice magazine. It's one of the longest interviews I've ever seen with him. He talks a lot about acting and his career path. Nice pictures, too! In case you're wondering, Venice is an arts and entertainment magazine in Los Angeles. Enjoy!
Now I'm going to go try to recover from the season finale of "24." Yowza.

Guess we're even
It's odd to see "Monster-in-Law" right behind "Star Wars" on the Box Office Mojo chart. As if it were doing almost as well. Heh. It is doing considerably well, though. Still ahead of all the others and it surpassed the $40 million mark over the weekend ($44.2 million through Sunday). Pretty profitable for a movie that was budgeted in the low- to mid-$40 million range. And maybe a chick flick won't do so bad paired with an SFX fest like SW. :)
To walk around in MV's shirt...
Thanks to nida89 for the heads-up that there's an official New Line MiL memorabilia auction going on right now! You can bid on Michael-related items, too, including his hospital scrubs, his chair back and glasses (??) from the movie. All bids are currently at only $25 dollars, and you have 7 days left to get yours in! This auction is hosted by the New Line Cinema Web site, so as trustworthy as it gets.
Intense Michael for June
We've posted a new page of our printable MV calendar, and I must say that's a very fine motif for my birthday month! It's always such a treat to click on the link, let alone hang it up on my wall. Thanks for your fab creation, Souris!!
So, looks like we're getting the first summer weather over here this week. Good thing that "24" won't air before tonight. Not that you can cool off to their tune! I'm so geared up for finale week and I hope you'll have a fun ride, too!
