It's a (partial) wrap!
The filming of Rogue seems to be right on schedule. According to Northern Territory News, "Filming of the Hollywood crocodile movie Rogue, starring US heart-throb Michael Vartan, wrapped up yesterday with scenes shot on a jumping croc cruise on the Adelaide River." Now they'll move to Victoria to work on a set instead of on location. I hope the cast and crew make time to celebrate Michael's birthday this weekend during the flux of the change of locations. Heart-throbs need to celebrate birthdays, too!

Today's math: Getting up at 3 a.m. to hit the after-Thanksgiving super-sales + having to work until 8 p.m. = Sleepy Souris. Let's see if I can stay awake long enough to upload this update....

Leftover "Alias" gossip
Oh, Washington Post, how you slay us. We're not too anxious to harp on the cancellation of "Alias," because it doesn't really change our viewing habits at all, but it seems wrong not to pass along the delicious snark of this Washington Post article about the show's demise. (And let's face it, there's absolutely no other news today unless we want to talk in depth about how I didn't blow up the house with my turkey after all.) Anyway, just the image of a prostrate Jeff Pinkner cracks me up (and I don't even know what the guy looks like).

I hope that all of you have the day off today, which is as it should be. I myself will be toiling away, because by God someone has to "cover the phones." I feel so important. And used!

Michael's celebrity endorsement
From the Michael Shows Up in the Most Random Articles file: Technically, this isn't exactly an endorsement, but you can read about something nice Michael does for Millie here. I hope Millie got to go with Michael to Australia, or she's going to be watching an awful lot of those DVDs.

The half-hearted promo machine gears up again
Judith let us know that the video clip of Michael on "Kitchen Confidential" is back up at FOX's site. Scroll to the right under the video screen until you get to the first KC clip. This had better not be the last time we see this scene!

The end of an era
It's an era that ended for us a long time ago, but now it's official: "Alias" will end in May. There are lots of articles giving the announcement (like this one from Zap2it), but they mostly have the same information and the same company line about what a thrilling finale there will be. I guess good luck to them with that!

Have a fantastic Thanksgiving, everybody! Wish me luck on my first turkey ever. This year I am thankful for (in no particular order) Michael Vartan, our great fan community here, "Veronica Mars," any of the "Arrested Development" episodes that were/are actually allowed to air, and of course, the existence of pie (because even if my turkey explodes or becomes otherwise inedible, I will have something delicious to enjoy for dinner). Hope you're enjoying many blessings this year.

There's just no escaping it
Michael's fantasy football team lost again this week. I don't know much about football, but a score of 76-48 leads me to believe that the Wizard Sleeves went down in flames! According to NFL.com, "Nick Bakay's Love Handles got a combined 40 points from Brett Favre and Mewelde Moore in the Monday night game to overtake Michael Vartan's Wizard Sleeves, 76-48." With two weeks to go in the regular season, they're literally at the end of the line. No way to make it into the remaining three playoff spots! It was fun while it lasted, though. Better luck next time!

In slightly off-topic news, Bradley Cooper wasn't on yesterday's "Regis & Kelly." Val posted in our guestbook that he was scheduled to appear on "The Tony Danza Show" this Friday, but with nothing to promote, they pulled him from everything. We don't know if he'll reschedule, but since the airing of "Kitchen Confidential" is not a safe bet, we're probably not going to see any more stuff.

It's not a real Wednesday morning until you've checked out upn.com's opening scene of the new "Veronica Mars." This episode looks GREAT! And Rodney Rowland's on it! Counting the hours...

Fun way to waste some time
Absolutely nothing new to see here today, so how about taking a nice browse through our gallery of Michael images? Looking at pictures of Michael is always enjoyable!

Five days until Michael's birthday!

On the Watch
There's an interview with Michael in the December issue of German FHM. Many thanks to Katja, Vartan Ho #3565, for scanning and translating it! Some of the answers seem a bit dated and familiar, but it's nice to see the coverage! And while it's hard to do Michael justice with translating him back and forth, he still seems to be as self-deprecating as ever! Enjoy!
