Giant "Kitchen" captures, rowr!
We've got a little surprise for you! Patrick was able to grab "Kitchen Confidential" in high definition and has made screencaps for us! Yay! We can share the first batch with you today, and more are on the way. I can't get enough of this sexy, delicious French chef. Or Patrick. Thanks so much, man!
Relaxation is key
Sunday is always a good day for reading a new MV article. There's one in the Sunday Herald Sun letting you in on how Michael likes to spend his (I'm sure little) free time in Australia. He makes the most of it! :)
I would also be in the mood for some club hopping right about now to escape the pre-holiday craziness. Oh, boy. Hope your final two weekends aren't too hectic before the really big one!

A Vaughn development
According to in-the-know Jodi at
sd-1, Michael will appear in a yet-to-be-determined number of "Alias" episodes after the hiatus and after he finishes filming "Rogue." Clearly, Michael is a more forgiving person than I am! I hope they compensate him very, very, very well for coming back after they fired him. I'm talking Oprah money here. I think they should enable him to be able to buy and sell Bill Gates.
Those of you dealing with wintry weather today, be safe! (Well, actually, that goes even if you're NOT dealing with wintry weather today.)

The Quotables
We've got the funniest excerpts from "French Fight" written down for you. A special shoutout to Mel TM for all her hard work! You rock, girl! Wasn't that dialogue just hysterical? And the parts with Mimi were sexy as hell. I never thought I'd hear Michael utter sentences like these. Ohhh! If you haven't watched the clips yet, go read. And then discuss. Or make icons. Michael is such a delicious baddie!
Extra's in the kitchen
Extra ran a piece about Michael's "Kitchen Confidential" ep on Monday. We've posted a video clip here. They visited the cast during a photoshoot for Hollywood Life magazine before filming of the episode had started. Michael wasn't present, but Bradley and the other guys talk about him a little bit and about how the episode came to be. Cuteness and mocking ensues.
No playoff material
Well, you're almost happy the NFL Total Access Hollywood League is over for Michael's team, because it became painful to watch them lose so much! Sadly, they did it again in their final week and lost their last game to The Boondocks with 72-61. The Wizard Sleeves are ending the regular season tied for last place in standings, and second-to-last place in total points.
Kitchen love
There's much love for "KC" in this week's Watercooler at TV Guide.com. A "watercooler" ep it truly was! Hot! Too bad people didn't catch on to the show sooner. But then, Michael wasn't on it. ;) That man is such an attraction! And, yeah, that Mimi sure was one to envy!
Even more eye candy
Hee, I love talking about this one episode all week. Almost like the "Monster-in-Law" media blitz we saw this spring. :) The official Fox Web site has updated with a recap of the show, the week's recipe (the one Michel took off Nolita's menu!), the featured music, and some very handsome new pictures (one of MV hugging BC). I had to deactivate my popup blocker for the gallery to open. I don't know why releasing videos and images in Macromedia Flash format is all the rage these days.
I do know why "Veronica Mars" has been so popular! I only hope it'll stay on my good side 'cause these latest developments are whacky! But then I'm watching "Nip/Tuck," which makes anything relative. Enjoy your TV night!

Update: Eye candy
We've added screencaps of Michael's "Kitchen Confidential" episode. Damn, that man is sexy. Enjoy! Feel free to use them for icons or wallpapers. My fingers are itching, too!
For everybody interested in the ratings, they weren't good, alas. According to Zap2it's fast nationals, Fox came in fifth for the 8 p.m. hour, with "Arrested Development" getting a 2.8/4 and "Kitchen Confidential" a 2.1/3 rating. I assume getting beat by a "7th Heaven" repeat will be the final nail in the coffin. But we got to see Michel, yay!
Special of the day
Yay! Michael's episode of "Kitchen Confidential" actually aired! If you didn't get to see the episode, because you don't live in the United States or aliens abducted your TV five minutes before air time, we've added six videoclips from "French Fight." They contain all of Michael's scenes. Enjoy! And how good did he look in the orange? Yum!
Out and about with Michael
Curious how Michael spent some of his off-time in Australia this past weekend? Now you know! Apparently it was a pretty big shindig, with lots of local celebrities attending and a special performance by an Australian version of the Pussycat Dolls. Gee, I wonder why he went? ;-) Thanks to Jess, Vartan Ho #870, for that info!
TV scars
We must compliment Karla Peterson of the Union-Tribune on a particularly insightful and truthful article about how to cope when your favorite shows start to stuck, using "Alias" as a prime example. Not much else to say except "Word!"

Tonight is the night, baby
As far as Fox' main page goes, "Kitchen Confidential" is still on. So we can cautiously start looking forward to tonight. :) You can catch it at 8:30 p.m. after a new "Arrested Development." This is going to be awesome. We've waited long enough! Remember that if you know people with Nielsen boxes, force them to watch!
While in other parts of the world
More AFI awards coverage has made it to the surface. You can read how exciting it can be spotting Michael on the red carpet in the fan account that Anneliese has submitted to us. Too bad these events attract all kinds of crazy people, too.
Speaking of an Australian actor, there's a really hysterical new Michael quote from the AFI awards after-party in this week's Who Weekly magazine (sister magazine of People), that comes courtesy of Mez from Melbourne.
When asked at the after-party what his personal highlight of the AFI awards was, Michael said "Russell Crowe singing." "Really!?" asked the reporter. Replied MV: "No."
Now tell me you don't adore him!
There's also an article in the Nothern Territory News today that focuses on Michael, but uses old quotes from the AFIs. At least they keep on covering "Rogue." They must be thrilled their landscape is getting so much exposure. And from what Michael says, deservedly so! That movie is going to be pretty in so many ways.
