Game plan
Kristin addresses some "Alias" rumors in her Friday column, and her intel seems pretty plausible for a change. She writes that since "ABC still hasn't set a return date, and given that uncertainty, I'm told the writers are concerned they might not get all eight episodes. So, they've worked out a plan B in case they need to end the storylines more quickly." She hypes a few story ideas on the site, but who knows how they will pan out if "Alias" is cut short. Thanks to Judith for the link!

Enjoy the closing ceremony of the Olympics!

Going batty
Megan sent us a cute picture of Michael and a cricket bat from Australia's TVWeek magazine. Thanks, Megan!

Last call
Today's the last day for you to send in your caption entries for the February caption contest. It seems like just yesterday that we put up the January results!

Yay! The U.S. Olympic team voted for Joey Cheek to carry the U.S. flag in the closing ceremony. That's a big honor, and very fitting considering his generosity and the classy way he's handled himself during the Games. Unlike some American competitors, I might add.

"Out comes the olive oil spray"
Interested in reading about Michael glistening with sweat (real or otherwise)? Check out this new article from the set of "Rogue" where Michael explains why this set is in some ways more low-pressure than others. Sounds like it was probably tough for him to leave! Thanks to Judith for the article.

I miss my Thursday-night Carell fix. And my Wednesday-night Logan Echolls fix, for that matter. Oh, international sporting events.

The Vartan Ho Welcome Wagon
Lugia has been adding new members to the Ho List, and we'd like to extend a warm welcome to our latest milestone Ho, Brier, Vartan Ho #4100. Updated pages are here and here. Looks like the Hos are representing from all over the globe this week, which is awesome.

So is it safe to say everyone will be glued to the figure skating tonight? Or will you be tuning in to see who gets the boot on AI? I know it will never, ever happen, but Taylor Hicks makes my skin crawl and I want him to go away, like, yesterday. Or at the bare minimum, quit doing that stupid head tilt every time the camera's on him. Gah. On the plus side, there are plenty of people to like, so hopefully they will all rise to the top this evening. Um, when the figure skating's on commercial.

Home, sweet home
Michael made his way back to the USA on Monday, according to a post from Jodi at sd-1.net. Hope his long flight wasn't too unpleasant and that he's settling in well this week (reunited with Millie, yay!). He will not be on the "Alias" set until early March. Thanks for the timeline, Jodi!

Why isn't it Sci Fi Friday yet?

He oughta be in pictures
Beccalouise sent us a fun slideshow featuring lots of yummy pics of Michael, set to Yellowcard's "Hey Mike." A note of caution from personal experience: If your cat happens to be sleeping on your lap, you might want to turn down your computer's sound before playing the slideshow. I'm just saying.

"Rogue" costar
This article doesn't have Michael information, but you might enjoy reading about John Jarratt, one of Michael's "Rogue" costars. Thanks to Blake at CinemaStrikesBack.com for the link.

Congrats to Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto for winning the first U.S. medal in ice dancing since 1976! And also thank you for not wearing pasties.

Kiss and tell
There's another sweet article about movie kisses, that mentions MV's character from "Never Been Kissed" quite a bit. The Wichita Eagle conducted a best kisses poll over Valentine's Day, and Sam Coulson proved to be very popular! Can't say that I blame those voters.
