Weekend reversal
It seems that Souris' wish for nicer weather has paid off. After tons and tons of snow yesterday, the sun finally came out today! Yay! Of course, that doesn't really make up for a lack of MV news. But it would be hard anyway to top the droolfest from Saturday. Seriously, how sweet and funny and sexy and classy was that interview?
Guess I will actually catch up on some work now. Hope your Sunday is of the relaxing kind!

Lots of Michael and Greg
We have something really cool to shout out today: Bluebear-74 captured Michael's appearance on "9 a.m. with David and Kim" from Australian television. Greg McLean, the director of "Rogue," appears in the studio and Michael appears via satellite from Los Angeles. It's a very long clip, so it'll take a while to download. We've put up two versions -- they're the same clip, just different file sizes.
Bluebear-74 also provided some really nice screencaps from the appearance. Note the appropriate insignia on Michael's shirt. :-) Huge, huge thanks to Bluebear-74 and vaughnalicious for making this available! You can visit Bluebear-74's blog to say thanks personally.

It's always fun when ABC thinks we're still big fans of "Alias" craving some
new merch. That said, we're playing into their evil little hands here, but we have
to give people the opportunity to get their Michael fixes where they may.
ABC is offering some new wallpapers/screensavers for mobile phones, and there's
an Alias set featuring some Vaughn pictures. You can purchase those
here.
I'd recommend the "Vaughn in the gym" one over "bloodied Vaughn," because...um, that's
sort of insulting and weird.
Thank goodness that was our last "Veronica Mars"-less Wednesday for a while.
I've been getting bored, and I need a refreshing tonic after watching Taylor
Hicks spazz his way across the stage.

Partying on
Quite a bit to shout out today, so let's get to it! The Weinstein Company's pre-Oscar party was quite the shindig. The NY Post and Fox News (scroll down to the Felicity/Judi headline) had write-ups about the party, and Michael was listed in the midst of some VERY big-name company.
E! also covered the party, and they talked to various stars about the Oscars, including Michael. He's at the very end of the vidclip, and you have to jump through a few hoops to get there. First, go to this page. Click on the small "The Vine" at the end of the menu bar at the top. This will bring up another window. Then click on the "E! News and Gossip" option, and scroll down to the "Weinstein Co. & E! Oscar Pre-Party" selection (there's a picture of George Clooney) for the video. If you can't play it -- or can't find the darn thing -- Lugia managed to get a few screencaps. Thanks to Candie for the heads-up about the vidclip!

Now that Michael is back in Los Angeles ... he appeared on an Australian morning show via satellite. Vaughnalicious posted a couple of fabulous screencaps at sd-1 (note that you have to be signed in there to see them).

Winning smile
Michael attended the Weinstein Company's pre-Oscar party over the weekend, and we have added an abundance of photos from the event. Is he ever looking fabulous. Additional pics from his arrival and the red carpet/inside can be found at WireImage.
I think George Clooney's career bodes well for other TV actors out there. Just let your mind wander. You know you want to.
