Michael movie "news"
IMDb has updated a new page for a movie
called Jolene to reflect that Michael will be co-starring in it. (I don't think I recognize anybody else
but Keira Knightley's boyfriend in the cast.) No real info on the film and no official
announcement as of yet, but it looks like we have something to look forward to!
Another Michael appearance
According to this document,
Michael is set to be a guest at this year's Carousel of Hope, a benefit
for the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes on October 28
(schedule permitting). Sounds like there will be a lot of cool people there, so I hope
Michael is able to attend. Thanks to Bonnie for the alert!
I apologize for the DVD-sale slip-up the other day--this is why one shouldn't do updates
when they are basically catatonic. Live and learn.

Ooh, a mirrored marquee!
I'm trying to visualize what Michael + mirrored marquee would look like. I'm confident it's a good
thing. Anyway, that little detail comes via this tiny blurb in
the Herald Sun, sent to us by Moesha, Vartan Ho #1155. More Cup Day action.
Bulk up your DVD library
Beverley wrote to tell us that Amazon is having a
3-DVDs-for-$20 sale on select DVDs. "The Curve," "To Wong Foo," and "The Pallbearer" are all on that
list, so if you need to flesh out the Michael section of your collection, now's your chance.
Soooooooo tiiiiiiiiiiired...thank goodness for the approaching 3-day weekend...

The Australia Herald Sun has a brief blurb about
Michael's trip to Oz for the World Cup, which I might as well transcribe here: "Hollywood hottie Michael Vartan has accepted an Emirates invitation for
Melbourne Cup Day, returning to Australia after his stint here filming
Rogue." Can't wait!
Ooh, I liked "The Nine." Bailey always was my favorite Salinger.

Play ball!
It's time for the baseball playoffs, and we know that Michael must be excited about his Mets being in them. The New York Post mentions Michael as one of their famous fans. Thanks to Perri for the heads-up!
