Update: Game results
The Webcast just ended (10:47 ET), so I thought I'd update everyone on how great Michael looked on ice. ;) I didn't get to watch the whole thing, but I happened to log on just when Michael scored his goal in the first half! Yay! Go, Michael! The game ended 11-5, with Michael's team in blue, the Inspirations, winning. It's funny how I took for granted that he'd excel, and it looked like he really contributed some clever moves and was into it all around. Now all we need are some pictures. ;)
It's here!
Today is finally the 3rd Annual "Freeze the Disease" Celebrity Hockey Game benefitting Cystic Fibrosis Research that Michael will be at! All of you who are so lucky and can go, I hope this day is everything you wanted it to be! For the rest of us, there'll be a Webcast at the official FtD Web site starting 5 minutes before the game. The game will be at Staples Center starting ca. 6:16-6:30 p.m. Pacific Time, immediately following the L.A. Kings vs. Anaheim Ducks game at 3 p.m. Michael's team are the "Inspirations" (he's number 27, Line 2 position) playing against the "Transplants." Good luck!
We'll let you know when post-game information comes out, like official photos and merchandise to purchase for the cause, or the online auction. And if you want to send us some photos to display or a little report, we're all ears. Have a fantastic day! And good luck to the FtD committee as well, that has been so hard at work for this!

The last, but not the least
The last batch of Iolite's "Fiorile" screencaps includes probably the most interesting scene for MV fans. I mean, the kissy action, and brooding and watching him as a young stud is appreciated, too, but on page 12 he plays a music instrument, a big one, and just... I say no more. Thanks again, Iolite for letting us share the pretty on our site!
The eyebrows have it
And since you're hopefully in a mild mood now, can we ask for more Caption This entries, please? We've only received a handful yet, so I'm assuming that pic is not the most inspiring, but c'mon! There's a legend on that photo! Thanks for indulging me.
"Rogue" trailer in the making
According to a film Web site in Australia, Urban Cinefile, "Editor Jason Ballantine (Wolf Creek, Dark City, Star Wars) will be Andrew L. Urban's guest at the October Filmmaker's Studio at Sydney's Metro Screen (NEW TIME: 7pm, Nov 2, $20), where he will show a trailer of Rogue, Greg McLean's big budget follow up to Wolf Creek [ Bookings: 02 9361 5318 or metro@metroscreen.org.au ]."
To learn more about Filmmaker's Studio and Jason Ballantine's appearance or to book seats, go to Metro Screen. Thanks to bvec43 for the heads-up!
Sooo, what's on TV tonight?!

More "Fiorile"
Today we have five more pages of Iolite's lovely "Fiorile" screencaps. Mmmm, Michael as Massimo! I think I actually stopped breathing for a second at his first scene as Massimo, it's that YOWZA. This is one of my favorite movies that Michael has done. And doesn't he look so young?
The spirit of giving
We want to remind you about our and Vartanfan's charity project for Michael's birthday, which is just a little over a month away. You can donate to the Pediatric Epilepsy Project or donate to adopt a crocodile in Michael's name at the San Diego Zoo. Please make sure to use the form to let us know when you donate so we can keep track of the amount raised. Remember, it's for a good cause!
If you haven't been watching "Friday Night Lights," you should be! In my opinion, it's the best new show of the fall. Amazingly well-done (even if No!Augh is the show-runner....;-) And, honestly, you really don't have to like football to enjoy it.

Here's something we haven't done in awhile: post screencaps from one of Michael's really early projects! Iolite was so sweet to pass on over 400 pics from the "Fiorile" DVD, of which we've uploaded the first third right here. Great quality and content and just... drool. Young Michael in more than one role! And he was nominated for a French Caesar award for it! And, you know, he was half-naked for a good portion of the first part, so if that doesn't brighten your Monday... Thanks so much for all your hard work, Iolite!!
