Front page sensation
According to the Sunday Territorian Web site, today's edition of the Australian paper has a new MV "Rogue" promo pic on the front page! You can get a tiny glimpse of it here, along with an article. There should be another promo inside, exclusive to the Territorian. Thanks to Musicat for the link! If any Aussie Hos can get a higher-res scan from the print edition, that would be fabulous! Pretty exciting to have MV on the front page!

Racing Down Under
Today we have a really nice new picture of Michael at the Motorola Spring Racing Carnival when he was in Australia, courtesy of Vogue Australia. Big thanks to Vikki for the heads-up on this one! Isn't it amazing how Michael has to travel to the other end of the world for us to get really good coverage of him?

Will "Rogue" save Australian cinema?
Apparently, depending on who you ask, Australian cinema is in a bit of a financial slump lately.
But buzz is good for "Rogue" according to this article.
Hey, if "Rogue" can pump a little cash into the Australian economy while giving us our Michael fix, then
it is really firing on all cylinders as far as I'm concerned.

More, more, more!
Michael needs to visit Australia more often! There's always so much media when he does! We found new articles with MV quotes in them. The first comes from Vikki and appeared in The Sunday Age. The second was in Monday's edition of The Age. Michael is so funny! No wonder the press likes to put that in print.
Yay, Euro 2008 soccer qualification games tonight! I never came down from that World Cup high. :)

A birthday message
It's less than two weeks until Michael's birthday, and we're disappointed to say that so far the response to our birthday project with VartanFan hasn't been exactly earth-shattering. Response was so wonderful last year when we bought the ad for Michael in The Hollywood Reporter, we had hoped that it would be as great for a charity that Michael himself requested donations go to. And we also still need some donations for the Adopt-a-Croc portion of the birthday project. We know the holidays are coming up, but if you've been thinking about contributing and haven't gotten around to it yet, you don't have much time left!
Yay! NBC picked up "Friday Night Lights" for the entire season! Whoo!

The Derby goes on
We've added even more coverage from the Melbourne Cup! Thanks to AussieCIFan99 for passing on a scan of the picture that accompanied the poker article yesterday. It's black and white, but it's cute!
Then we've got another article from Cup Day thanks to Girasol, with also a brandnew scan, thanks to AussieCIFan99! Makes you wish Michael had been wearing a hat, too! ;)
And last, but not least, a beautiful pic in full color from Australian OK magazine from Derby Day. Here the thanks go out to bvec43 for passing on the scan! I think this won't be the last we've heard of this event!!
