Kudos for Michael
Dan Ireland, the director of "Jolene," has posted a couple of times about the movie on his IMDB message board, and he had some VERY complimentary things to say about Michael, plus some insights into his character. You can can read his comments on the "Jolene" spoiler page. How great to see such praise for Michael! Big thanks to Southern Gal for the heads-up on that.

Happy Thanksgiving!
On this day we'd like to thank all of our visitors and news contributers! Without you this site wouldn't be possible and nearly as much fun! We hope you have a festive and really yummy Thanksgiving!
We're especially thrilled we met the birthday goal! We hope it will be a nice and thoughtful surprise for Michael! We can all be thankful that Michael's keepin' busy. Lots of cool stuff to look forward to in 2007 because he's just a cool guy. Enjoy your day!

Adopt-a-Croc mission accomplished!

DVD conundrum
There's another lengthy review of the "Alias" DVD set at dvdtalk.com. Thanks to Maryann at VHoChat for the link! We'd like to alert any UK Hos, however, that according to Anna, the UK edition is different. Here's what she wrote us in detail (thanks, Anna!):
"I live in the UK and purchased the complete collection today and ... when I opened the box it wasn't anything like what had been described and advertised. All it was, was the actual boxsets that you can buy separately just placed in the box. There was no hardback book but it did have the bonus disc. The DVDs didn't come in special folio cases and the bonus disc wasn't hidden and the box didn't fold out. ... Not sure if the hardback book etc. was meant for just America or not, but I thought it was supposed to be the same for all countries."

Honorary Aussie?
No sooner is Michael back home from his visit to Australia than he's planning another trip Down Under for early next year, according to this blurb in the Herald Sun. He really must love it there! Hmmm, anybody else a little concerned that he might love it so much he might just up and move there?? Thanks to Vikki for the blurb!
Rats, no "Friday Night Lights" tonight. Oh, well, I have Thanksgiving preparations, anyway!

Still in Style
Here's something really cool (especially for a Monday morning)! We've got a full page of new MV pictures, which are outtakes from the May 2005 "Man of Style" InStyle photoshoot! Many thanks to Girasol and bvec43 for them! They're small, but very yummy! I don't think we actually got a version of the "suit" pic in the print edition or anywhere. What gives? But it's lovely to see Millie again! Michael and his dog are a match made in heaven. Adorable x 1000!
Separated at birth?
Chatty passed on scans from People's Sexiest Man Alive issue (11/27). Of course Michael's not on the list because People doesn't work that way, but he was picked for their Hollywood look-alikes section. Personally, I think you can make anybody look like anybody (remember Bush or Chimp?), and if anybody, we'd have picked Noah Wyle to look like Michael (as seen in "The Myth of Fingerprints"). But what the heck.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
There's a review of the complete "Alias" DVD collection at IGN.com. Also thanks to Chatty for that find! It's actually a decent look back at the show (they deemed Season 3 a disaster that the show never recovered from!), and gives a pretty good description of what you can expect from the extras on the one exclusive disc.
All things considered, it's a good Monday. And if I get my hands on the new Atlantis ep, it'll be an even better one! ;)
