More TCA pics!
ABC finished up the TCA Thursday night with a party for their stars and the critics, and we have quite a few pictures of Michael from it.

Release-date roulette
As if we weren't confused enough about when "Rogue" will finally end up in theaters, now comes this article saying it will have its world premiere at a film festival in Darwin on Aug. 11. I swear, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it just showed up on some random Tuesday in a theater in Bangkok. Thanks to SouthernGal at Vartanopia for the heads-up!

TCA pics!
We have a couple of lovely high-resolution pictures from yesterday's "Big Shots" panel at the TCA, in which Michael is looking HOT. Glad to see the hair has grown out some! Getty also has some photos, and you

TCA stuff with less visual impact
First up, we have TV Guide's live blog from the TCA
panel, in which Christopher Titus apparently talked the whole time and Michael got to say a sentence or two while sitting there and
looking pretty. I never could see that dude's face without changing the channel, so I'm not surprised.

a reporter running into Michael prior to the interviews. I must say, having seen those pics, I think
the having to wear black turned out to be fortuitous indeed. Thanks to SouthernGal at

And I imagine it will if we're able to get some video. Michael's appearance on the Australian
"Rove" show this Sunday will be supplemented by additional guest David Duchovny.

Sins of omission: the lineup for the Venice Film Festival was just announced, and
"Jolene" isn't appearing. I s'pose
we'll just have to wait for the next one...

Save the date
You know as well as we do that the ABC promo monkeys have been known to screw around with things,
but I still somehow have more confidence that the following information will hold up than I do that we
will ever freaking see "Rogue": The ABC premiere dates were announced yesterday, and "Big Shots" will
debut on September 27.
Maybe it'll be accompanied by a "Rogue" preview! Oh, who am I kidding?
More promo action
If you, like the rest of the known world, have been having trouble playing Flash videos,
we now have an MPG version of the
"Big Shots" promo that we posted on Tuesday. (Thanks to greeneyes from the
Big Shots forum!) If you're keeping a
tagline tally, they changed it from "It's every man for himself" to "The boys have to stick together," which seems
like a cliche 180 to me. We have a new screencap because
we're completists like that.
So can we now officially say it? Two months 'til "Big Shots!"

MV pics from soccer event
This is making me happier than it should! MV was at "Soccer for Survivors" on Sunday, a football game hosted by The Hollywood United Football Club to benefit the Program for Torture Victims of the Hollywood United Youth Soccer Association at the Beverly Hills High School. I'm such a soccer nerd! I have to admit I was relieved it was not the David Beckham event. Thanks to redhat at Vartanopia for the news!
Very frustrating "Rogue" news
Are there ever good news in the movie business? Sometimes I just don't get it. The Greater Union is posting that the theatrical release of "Rogue" in Australia is now on November 1, 2007. We don't know how reliable this information is, but just the thought is giving me a headache. Will we ever see this movie, Bob and Harvey? Thanks to Mitchum at Vartanopia for the link.
Four more minutes until they're releasing the name of the next Tour de France doping sinner. More headaches.
