People has a shot or four
There's a fall preview page about "Big Shots" in People magazine and they have attached a really fun picture! Looks like it was taken during the TCA because the four "CEOs" are wearing the same clothes. Thanks to the fabulous ChattyG for the scan!

Paley TV Preview Parties
The Paley Center for Media (formerly The Museum of Television & Radio) will host free public screenings of network pilots before they air, including the "Big Shots" series premiere in LA (Sept. 10) and New York (Sept. 6) locations. Thanks to Ducky Does TV. The LA party poster makes note of "surprise guests," so you never know if stars like MV might show up. If anyone can go, we'd love a report!
A special print-out for a special month
Celebrate premiere month with a "Big Shots" calendar page! I almost can't believe MV's new series is starting soon -- which can't be said for his movies.
TIFF schedule
According to tiff07.ca, "Jolene" is not part of the lineup at the Toronto International Film Festival. Since it isn't at Venice, either, I don't know what the status is. IMDb lists it for a October 2007 US release.
TV clarity
Among the articles about fall TV trends, I came across one that puts "Big Shots" in the "super-rich but troubled" and "non-Americans in American roles" categories. Not that Michael is French-French, but at least that puts BS in the popular "House" category and gets him a mention.
