Playful Michael
There's a new video interview with Michael on the Poker News Web site. It's under the "Event 7" section. Apparently Michael finished third in a charity event at Aussie Millions -- which, according to the guy who finished first, isn't nearly as impressive as it sounds! Thanks to my finely honed powers of observation ;-), I do believe Michael is ever-so-slightly tipsy during the interview. It's really fun. Bunny-ears alert! For what it's worth
According to Ted Casablanca's column on E! Online (yeah, we know, we try to ignore him), "Rogue" is huge in Turkey (?!) and he's heard a rumor that it might be released on Memorial Day weekend. Given how many times we've been jerked around about a release date for "Rogue," and considering the source, plus taking into account the fact that would put it up against the release of a little film called "Indiana Jones 4," we're taking this with a big ole grain of salt. But just so you know. Thanks to Kimberly for the link!
"Big Shots" ratings
According to zap2it.com, on Thursday night: CBS stayed on top at 10 p.m. as Without a Trace" earned a 9.2/15. NBC's "ER" posted a 6.1/10 to beat out "Big Shots," 4.7/8, on ABC.
ABC's spin is as follows: In the final hour of the night against veteran dramas on CBS ("Without a Trace") and NBC ("ER"), ABC's freshman "Big Shots" ranked No. 1 among Women 18-34 (3.5/10). "Big Shots" jumped from its most recent original telecast (11/29/07) by 1.5 million viewers (6.8 million vs. 5.3 million) and by 24% in Adults 18-49 (2.6/7 vs. 2.1/6).

Pokernews.com is live-blogging the
Aussie Millions poker tournament in which Michael is participating. Scroll through for tidbits about
Michael's trash-talking opponents and why he declined the request to be a bounty (meaning other players
would get bonus money for knocking him out). In other news, the use of
"bounty" in a poker context means I kind of learned a new vocabulary word as part of this update. Thanks to

Hot Guys of 2008
Michael has made Cosmo's list of the hottest guys for 2008, along
with the likes of David Beckham and Justin "I'm a Mac" Long, who will forever be Warren P. Cheswick of the dearly
departed show "Ed" to me. If you'd have told me 7 years ago that goofy kid would be dating Drew
Barrymore...well, I just wouldn't have believed it. I love him. But no, he is certainly not as hot as Michael.

"Big Shots" spoilers
ABC has released information about the last episode of "Big Shots," that will air on January 24. We've added the air dates of all three remaining episodes to the calendar on your right. Fingers crossed it's actually happening that way!
"Big Shots" petition

"Rogue" DVD
Looks like "Rogue" won't come out in the US this month, but according to the Cinerama blog, the region code 4 DVD will be released in Australia this March. We don't know how reliable this info is, but any way we can finally see this, right? Region-free players should be able to handle it.
