Genesis Awards
There's an article at allheadlinenews.com that states that Michael is included in the honorary committee for this year's Genesis Awards. The awards honor the news and entertainment media for showcasing animal protection issues. The event will take place on March 28 at The Beverly Hilton.

K-Swiss Desert Smash
In a press release at The Earth Times, Michael is mentioned as having attended the K-Swiss Desert Smash in the past, "a two-day charity celebrity tennis and golf event being hosted ... just outside Palm Springs, CA. The event, being held March 10-11th, will benefit the Bryan Brothers' Foundation and Variety of the Desert - the Children's Charity." There's no word on whether he'll be there this year, but it's nice to learn about even more charities Michael has taken an interest in.

Change of season
We figured it was about time to bring an end to the Vartan Ho Season of Giving. (We'll pretend we always meant for it to go through Groundhog Day. ;-) Our visitors sent donations in Michael's name to the following charities (some received multiple donations):

We're sure that Michael is thankful for the generosity of his fans in helping others in his name, and we at the Safe House want to thank you, too! We know this is a tough time for many of you, and that makes your contributions all the more meaningful.
