The gang's back in the spotlight
There's a really fun Michael mention in The Bullseye section of the new Entertainment Weekly (Issue #1036, "Watchmen" cover). They rate what's hit the mark and what hasn't. There's a photo of MV on the second circle from the bullseye with this blurb:
"Good month for 'Alias' alums: After Bradley Cooper has a No. 1 movie, Michael Vartan returns to TV. Francie, we're crossing our fingers for you!"
Heralds of Spring
It's not March just yet, but I'm sure that most of us in the northern hemisphere can't wait for spring to arrive! To wet your appetite, here's the early release of our March calendar page. Oh glorious new pics we'll get out of "Time Heals"!
Have fun with the fancy Oscars!

First "Time Heals" image
Not of Michael, alas (but not surprising, considering he hasn't started filming yet). For a picture of Jada Pinkett Smith in her character's nursing scrubs, check out the TNT Web site. And we also now have a vague series start time: this summer.

Michael confirmed for World Poker Tour
According to Business Wire (with thanks to Maryann), Michael will attend the 7th Annual World Poker Tour¬ Invitational on February 28. "The three-day, freeroll, invitation-only Texas Hold 'Em tournament kicks off with a star-studded Red Carpet followed by intense poker action. ... One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit The Vine Group USA (TVG), a non-profit organization that provides educational assistance in Africa."
"Time Heals" media blitz
It felt like another "Time Heals" update was in order. The whole Internet seems to have jumped on the news, so you can catch a few additional articles here. Thanks to Maryann and Kimberly for sending us links! Just nice to see Michael's name in the titles.
"Time Heals" international press
There are even international sources that picked up on the casting coup: Digital Spy in the UK (thanks to Vicki for the link!), SeriesLive in France and myFanbase and SerienJunkies in Germany. That last article states that the original pilot with Jeffrey Nordling (Larry Moss on "24") was shot in Los Angeles between November 3 and 30.
Some "Demoted" love, too
Michael is also mentioned in an article about a costume designer that worked on "High School" and "Demoted."
Happy reading!

More on "Time Heals"
We've googled some additional information about "Time Heals" and added that to a spoilers page. It will be a one-hour drama series with a procedural character. Remember that this project is in the early stages and information is subject to change. Most notably, the name of the lead character was changed from Nancy to Christina. ;) The series has been picked up for 10 episodes.

New TV series role for Michael!!!!
Hot off the presses, the Hollywood Reporter posts that Michael will star opposite Jada Pinkett Smith in the TNT hospital series "Time Heals" that will premiere later this year. He will play Tom Wakefield, the director of medicine at the hospital, who cares a lot about his colleague Christina. Michael replaces Jeffrey Nordling, who played the role in the pilot. I hope he can re-create some of that awesome chemistry he had with Nia Long on "Big Shots," but it would generally be tough not to shine playing opposite Jada! Whee!
