A volley for the valley
The K-Swiss Desert Smash event we mentioned yesterday yielded a veritable link-a-pa-looza today. Click the following for pics:
slightly sweaty Michael with a delicious-looking cocktail,
the tattoos!, and some more, my favorite
of which is the adorable shifty-eyed one down the page a bit. There are some slightly larger versions of that last set
here. Thanks to Maryann for the link!
And if you still want some more, there's also a slideshow here, with
Michael in pics 13, 21, and 22.
Today's "Huh?" moment
Here's an AP report that
says a woman in North Carolina has sued Jennifer Lopez, Jane Fonda, and 30+ other people associated with "Monster-in-Law" because
it was similar to something she wrote years earlier. Maybe that's because it's a movie about a mean mother-in-law, and I understand
that to be a rather common trope. No word on whether Michael was personally sued, but I can't imagine that's going to go
anywhere anyway...

HawthoRNe, heal thyself
From Associated Press writer Sandy Cohen (who we last saw as a do-gooder lawyer on the late, occasionally lamented "The O.C.") comes
a story about Jada Pinkett Smith that is notable because
it refers to her new show as "HawthoRNe" instead of "Time Heals." I'll choose to take this with a grain of salt, because really, TNT?
If they're going that route they should just call it vaRtaN. I guarantee it'd draw more eyeballs!
Net benefit
Tuesday, Michael attended the K-Swiss Desert Smash charity event, which you can read about here. Michael gets in the last quote!

Batter up!
Michael got a chance to talk baseball with host Greg Schaum on a Kansas City sports-radio station last week, and you can listen to the podcast here. Learn how he became a Mets fan and how he celebrated their '86 World Series victory. Scroll down near the bottom of the page to the "Baseball This Week" section, then click on the the little gray arrow underneath the photo icon. Michael's part is in the last segment, so you can move the gray time-marker to about the 1:11 mark to get right to it. Thanks to Greg for e-mailing us to let us know about it!
