(In response to quotes by Ken Olin and J.J. Abrams in the October/November 2003 issue of CFQ)

My biggest problem with the quotes is that by making a huge deal about not keeping them together, they're MAKING it a show about romance. If they just let Vaughn and Syd stay together on the side and go out and conquer the world, THEN it's an action show with intrigue and romance. Now? They're making it a romance with action and intrigue, exactly the opposite of what they're claiming to want.
